Happy for the Paper Players

Hello!

It was a cold day here on Monday.  We were threatened with an ice storm all day Sunday and ending Monday morning.  Thankfully, it was too warm for ice and ended up being rain.  But once the rain ended, a cold front came through and dropped the temperatures all day.  Ick!

Perfect day to work from home and make a card during lunch, so that's just what I did!  The Paper Players challenge really caught my eye this week, PP227.  It's a color challenge, and I love these colors together!

The main panel of the card uses, hands down, my favorite Sale-A-Bration product, Irresistibly Yours Specialty DSP, #138635.   If you haven't taken a close look at this paper, do so, it's on page 15.  The only bad part about it is that it's only available until March 31!

Perfect technique for this challenge! I love the sponged colors on the new DSP and the die-cut sentiment is great! Thanks for sharing with us at The Paper Players!

Awesome card, Mel. I love this paper and can't wait to get mine this afternoon when Mr. B gets here! FYI us girls in DE haven't received our SAB catalogs yet.

Wow, what an awesome job you did sponging the background layer, Melanie! It makes the whole card! Thanks for joining us this week at The Paper Players!

This is so pretty! The sponged background is perfect for that loopy die-cut sentiment. Thanks so much for joining us at The Paper Players.
