From The North Pole

 Hello friends!

I'm back!  Sorry for the absence - I've had a crazy busy past few days starting with an 8:00 AM annual doctor visit Thursday morning.  And it was non stop from then until about 90 minutes ago!  Not that I would change a minute of it - well, I wouldn't have minded missing that doctor appointment.

Anyhow, it was good and productive, and now I'm back.  And I even did a little (emphasis on little) stamping when I got home today.  Last Wednesday the latest Paper Pumpkin landed in my mailbox.  I finally sat down this evening and made up one of each of the projects.  So here they are:

This month's kit, From The North Pole, makes 12 tags, 4 of each of the designs shown.  They make up very quickly - and did you see that beautiful Mint Macaron Glimmer Paper?  It's beautiful!  Tags are one of my favorite things to make!  But I don't make them very often.  I am going to make all of these and they will find themselves under my tree as well as on packages headed to some of my friends!  And I'm going to make more of them all year long next year.  For multiple occasions.  Hold me to it!

Anyhow, if you're not a Paper Pumpkin subscriber, you may want to consider adding a prepaid subscription to your Christmas List!  Have your loved one reach out to me and I can help them out with a gift certificate for a 3 month, 6 month, 9 month, or 12 month prepaid Paper Pumpkin subscription!  You know you'd love to get that box in the mail every month!

December Paper Pumpkin

The Paper Pumpkin Kit for December is "Good Things Come In Small Packages".  From Stampin' Up!:  "Create fun gift card holders to help you celebrate your special occasions all year long! No matter what the occasion or who the recipient is, this is a coordinated paper craft that everyone will love and appreciate! "

Christmas Banners Knit Together

 Hello friends,

This weekend is a big weekend for Stampin' Up! demonstrators world wide.  This is "OnStage" weekend.  OnStage is Stampin' Up!'s annual convention and all demonstrators are invited.  This year's "main event" is being held in Vienna Austria.  Here in the US, demonstrators will gather Friday evening for a reception for leaders, and all day Saturday for the main OnStage event. It's fun to gather together, hear news about the company, and see product demonstrations of new products that will be available in the new spring mini launching in January.

But, before I head out to this evening's festivities, I have one more Christmas Banners card to share with you.

The background for this card was created by stamping the Knit Together background stamp in Crumb Cake ink on a piece of Basic White card stock.  The banner is stamped in Evening Evergreen, with the greeting stamped in Real Red ink.  The branches were die cut in both Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent and attached to the card background.  The banner was attached with Dimensionals.

Christmas Banners

 Hello friends!

I've chosen the Christmas Banners bundle for my focus this week.  So that means a card today, Facebook Live Thursday evening, and another card on Friday, all using the Christmas Banners bundle!  And, you will be able to pick up the Make n Takes from Thursday's Facebook Live free later in the week!

First up, today's card:

This is such a great bundle!  In addition to the banners and sentiments, there are several festive embellishments!  For today's card, I started with a Real Red card base.  The next layer is Garden Green card stock that has been embossed with the Wintry 3D Embossing Folder.  I added a strip of Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper bordered with Gold 1/4" Shimmer Ribbon.  Finally, I added the banner and some Gold Glimmer Paper branches.

I hope you've enjoyed today's project!  Be sure to check back tomorrow for Facebook Live at 7:00 PM Eastern where I will share three Make n Takes featuring this same bundle!

Christmas Scottie Furry & Bright

I'm sharing the sixth project in my series of Christmas Scottie projects.  These scottie dogs are so adorable!

For this card, I added a strip of Snowflake Specialty Vellum and stamped the snowflakes from the stamp set on the remaining part of the card front.  I stamp the dog and sentiment on a white cardstock square and added some Festive Pearls to complete my card.

Christmas Scottie

This week I am using the Christmas Scottie bundle for my Facebook Live and free class.  I love this bundle, which includes a photopolymer stamp set and coordinating punch.  And the scottie dog is adorable!

Here is my first card with this bundle.  It's a very easy card - a little stamping, a little punching, and voila - 1 Christmas card ready to go!

I stamped the plaid stamp on a scrap of Basic White card stock.  I punched out the dog from this scrap.  The bow is Evening Evergreen Glimmer Paper.  The sentiment is stamped in Evening Evergreen.

I'll see you Thursday evening at 7:00 Eastern for the next 3 projects using this bundle!
