Want Free Stampin' Up! Product?

Yes, that's right!  I'm about to share not one, but TWO great ways you can earn FREE Stampin' Up! product beginning May 4.  Intrigued?  Read on!

By now, you've probably received your copy of the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog.  (If not, and you'd like to receive a copy, message me today!). And like me, you've probably looked through the catalog dozens of times, working on your wish list that's as long as your arm!  If so, you're going to love what's coming!

Connect, Craft, & Collect

From May 4 through June 14, Stampin' Up! is giving us an additional $25.00 in free product for every order we place totaling $250.00 (before shipping and handling).  This could be your personal order or your order plus those you gather from a few friends.  So, you will collect Stampin' Rewards based on the amount of your order + the additional $25.00 bonus!

Take a look at the chart below that explains it graphically.  (Click the image below for a larger, easier to read version of this graphic).

What a great opportunity to reduce the size of that wish list, plus pick up one or more of those exclusive Host Products available beginning on page 170 of the Annual Catalog!  (Did you see that fabulous Pattern Party Designer Series Paper pack on page 171?)

If $250.00 seems a little high for your personal order, why not ask a couple friends if they'd like to order with you?  Message me, we can talk options for you!

Annual Catalog - Top 5

As we prepare to say farewell to the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog, I thought it would be fun to take a look back at my top 5 most loved/pinned posts from that catalog.  I didn't say top 5 cards, because many of these posts feature more than 1 card.  So, without further delay, let's go!

In position 5, Gather Together from September 2020:

In 4th place, Arrange A Wreath from July 2020:

Third place:    Prized Peony from June 2020

In second place, Whale Done from June 2020

And the top most loved/pinned post from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog, Forever Greenery from May 2020!

Clicking any of the photos above will take you back to the original post.

Are any of your favorites in that top 5?  Thanks for taking this walk down memory lane with me!

Nothing's Better Than

I'm so glad the Nothing's Better Than Bundle (#154061)  is sticking around in the new catalog!  I haven't used it nearly as much as I've wanted.  However, the bundle pricing will not be available after May 3.

Here's a look at the cards I made.

For both cards I started with a base of Basic White cardstock and sponged on a background using Blending Brushes.  On the "Cocktails" card I used Soft Sea Foam and on the "Coffee" card I used Crumb Cake.  I stamped the images on the backgrounds and finished off the cards with labels for the greetings and die cut coffee cups and a cocktail.

Colors used for the "Cocktails" card are Soft Sea Foam, Soft Succulent, Polished Pink, Pale Papaya, and Granny Apple Green.  I used the Rainbow Glimmer Paper for the "Cocktails" sentiment.

Colors for the "Coffee" card are Soft Suede, Coastal Cabana, and Crumb Cake.

Welcoming Window

Mother's Day will be here soon!  So, I pulled out the very versatile Welcoming Window bundle for today's card.  Here's a look at what is included in the bundle:

And here's a look at the card I made:

To create my card I "stamped" the window image in Gray Granite by pressing the die into the stamp pad before die cutting on a scrap of Basic White cardstock.  Then, using the negative from the window die cut, I used Blending Brushes to create the color behind the window on the card's image panel.

I stamped the brick image randomly on the card front above below the window.  On another scrap of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the window sill, vase, and flowers and die cut those images.

To complete the card, I stamped the sentiment in the bottom right corner.

Join me Thursday evening on Facebook at 7:00 Eastern.  I will make a card similar to this one and a couple other projects using this wonderful bundle!  Hope to see you there!

Wrapped Bouquet for Mother's Day

Hello friends,

I pulled out the Wrapped Bouquet bundle for today's card I made for Mother's Day.   What a fun bundle!

I started with a panel of Basic White cardstock and, using a Blending Brush, I sponged on some Petal Pink ink to create a background.  And I stamped my sentiment in the bottom left using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

On a separate piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the floral image that I colored with Stampin' Write Markers.  Basic Black for the wrap,  Evening Evergreen (new InColor) for the foliage, and Poppy Parade for the flowers.  After "huffing" the stamp, I stamped the image.  Then, using the Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker, I added the centers to the flowers.  I die cut the image using the corresponding die from the bundle.  Prior to adhering the flower bundle to the card base, I added Dimensionals and a bow tied from Linen Thread.  The image panel is framed using the Brights 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Assortment.

My card is for Mother's Day, but almost any sentiment would be appropriate for this lovely floral image.

Dragonfly Garden

 Hello friends,

I love that when I want to color a card, Stampin' Up! gives me so many options to do so.  For today's card, I selected the Dragonfly Garden stamp set.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I used Blending Brushes to apply Pool Party ink to the top half of my card and Granny Apple Green to the bottom half of the card.   I stamped all images in Memento Tuxedo Black and then colored the flower images and leaves with Stampin' Blends.  I added a piece of Cinnamon Cider DSP and a Bumblebee Ribbon to the Basic White Thick cardstock base and then added my stamped and colored panel with Dimensionals.

If you haven't tried coloring lately, give it a try!  I find it to be very relaxing!
