Fun Christmas Cards

 Hello stampers,

I hope you had a fun weekend!  The weather here was not perfect, but hey, it's the end of October and all kinds of weather could have been in play!  Other than that, it was a lot of fun!

Last week during my Facebook Live, I made a couple of Christmas cards.  One using the Perfectly Plaid stamp set, a favorite that's been around for a couple of years, and one using the Sweet Stocking suite from the Fall Mini Catalog.

Here is a look at both cards.

Both cards were a lot of fun to make.  The bottom card, using the Sweet Stockings Suite is a fun fold.  If you missed the Live and want to see how I made it, you can catch it here.

And remember, when you place a minimum $35.00 order by November 2, 2021 at midnight, I will send you the supplies (excluding stamps, inks, & adhesives).  Please add Host Code Q6VKJYWY when placing your order.

I am so humbled by those of you that have selected me as your Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  Thank you!   If there is ever anything I can do for you, please just let me know.

Make it a Stamp-tastic Day!

Well Defined Halloween

Hi everyone!

I have one final Halloween card for you for 2021.  It's a fun card using the Well Defined stamp set, and, of course, the Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper.  Take a look!

To make my card, I started with a Highland Heather card base.  I added a layer of Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper framed by a Basic White cardstock panel.  I tied a bow using the Black & White Gingham Ribbon.  The greeting is stamped in Highland Heather on Basic White and die cut with the Hippo & Friends dies.  Finally, I added a few Black Matte Dots to finish off the card.

You can find a list of all the products I used for this card below.  Clicking any one of the product pictures will take you directly to my online store.

Please use the host code for October Q6VKJYWY when ordering.   If your order is more than $150.00, do not use the code.  Doing so would forfeit your earned hostess benefits.  However, you will still receive this month's order bonus from me.

I am so grateful for those of you that have selected me as your Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  Thank you!   If there is ever anything I can do for you, please just let me know.

Happy Halloween!

Snowflake Wishes

Hi everyone!

Last night I was fortunate to be invited to a stamping and crafting demonstration presented by members of the Stampin' Up! home office team.  It was a lot of fun and I learned a few techniques.  I'm sharing one of those tonight.  I don't have the stamp set they used in the presentation, so I substituted the wonderful Snowflake Wishes stamp set and Many Snowflakes Dies.

The technique involves selecting 3 image stamps and placing them on the Stamparatus.  Ink up the stamps, sponge on accents of the secondary color and stamp.  Turn your paper 90 degrees and repeat twice.  That's it.  There's no secret to it.  This is my first attempt and I'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out.   I'm also looking forward to trying it again with other images.

Turtle Friends Birthday

 Hello friends,

The Turtle Friends bundle has spent more time on the out-of-stock list than in-stock over the past few months.  Toward the end of September it was finally back in stock for a while and I scooped it up!  (It's now out of stock again, but expected in the week of November 15).  It's such a cute set that I couldn't resist sneaking in a card.

To make the card, I stamped the turtle in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored him with Stampin' Blends.  Then I stamped him again to add the sentiment.  I adhered the turtle to a Basic White circle where I had stamped some grass.  The card base is Evening Evergreen with a Bumblebee layer.  The Designer Series Paper is from In The Wild.  Finally I added a bit of White Bakers Twine and 2021-2023 In Color Jewels.

You can find a list of all the products I used for this card below.  Clicking any one of the product pictures will take you directly to my online store.

Whimsy and Wonder

 Hi everyone!

Last week I finally pulled out the Whimsy & Wonder Suite to make a few cards.  I love the non traditional shades of the designer series paper in this suite.  And the whimsical images in this stamp set are wonderful!  Here's a look at the cards I made:

Oh my goodness, I love this paper!  Let's take a closer look at each of the cards.

Blushing Bride and Mossy Meadow are the card stock colors I used for this card.

Blushing Bride is the primary color on this card.  And I used the pine boughs from the Wintry 3D Embossing Folders to texturize the card stock.

For this card, I used Mossy Meadow and Polished Pink Stampin' Blends to color the holly.  And I added Wink of Stella and a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to add a little bling.

These cards were part of last week's Facebook Live.  You can watch the replay here:

To get the materials to make these cards yourself, place an order for a minimum of $35.00 using host code C4BBCYXV no later than end of day Tuesday, October 26, 2021.

Elegant Evergreen

 Hi everyone!

I love to spotlight easy to create and reproduce cards here on my blog.  This is especially true as we get closer to the holidays when people send many cards.  Today's card is very easy to create, and looks elegant at the same time.

The stamping consists of a single tree from Evergreen Elegance stamped in Evening Evergreen.  The Basic White panels are bordered with Evening Evergreen and the card is finished off with a gold bow.  Easy - and elegant.

You can find a list of all the products I used for this card below.  Clicking any one of the product pictures will take you directly to my online store.

Snow Wonder

 Hello friends,

I hope you had the opportunity to take advantage of Stampin' Up!'s flash sale on Wednesday and picked up a few of those fabulous stamp sets on sale!  I'm looking forward to my order arriving - nothing like new stamp sets to inspire me!

The stamp set for today's card is not new, in fact it is a set that returned from last year.  And I'm so glad it did!  Snow Wonder is a great set; I love the art work in this set.  So, I dusted off this set and made today's card.  The background DSP for my card is from Saleabration, but almost any paper would be pretty.

I stamped the snowman in Basic Gray and colored the scarf and holly on the hat with Stampin' Blends.  The greeting was stamped in Real Red.  I tied a bow of White 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon around the Designer Series Paper.  I framed the stamped panel with a Basic Black panel.

You can find a list of all the products I used for this card below.  Clicking any one of the product pictures will take you directly to my online store.

Please use the host code for October C4BBCYXV when ordering.   If your order is more than $150.00, do not use the code.  Doing so would forfeit your earned hostess benefits.  However, you will still receive this month's order bonus from me.
