Have A Hoot

Happy Halloween, everyone! I have one more Halloween card for you before we put the holiday to bed for this season. I haven't used the Have A Hoot stamp set yet, so no better town to pull it out!

To make this card, I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black on a panel of Whisper White card stock that I cut out with the Stitched Rectangle Dies. Then I stamped the image again on a piece of scrap paper. I colored the tree on the main image panel and colored the owl and spider on the second image using Stampin Blends. With the Peek a Hoot Dies, I cut out the images from the scrap paper and attached them to the main image panel with Dimensionals. I added a spider web from the same dies. and adhered all to a backing of Plaid Tidings 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper.

Gathered Leaves Thanksgiving

Do you send cards for Thanksgiving? I do. But I bet that prior to this year most of you have not. But with this year of so many changes and challenges a new tradition may be born.

I made my Thanksgiving cards using Very Vanilla notecards. The notecards are a little smaller than the normal sized cards we typically make. They are so conveniently sold in packs of 20 cards and 20 envelopes.

Way To Goat

What a day today has been! Our son and bonus daughter finally closed on their new home and we spent the day helping them move their belongings from storage (ie., our house) to theirs. It was exhausting, but it's nice to see them so happy!

The card I'm sharing with you today was made for a very special recent birthday. I really got a laugh out of this set when I saw it, so I was happy to pull it out for today's card.

I stamped the goat on a piece of Whisper White card stock and colored him with Stampin' Blends. The sentiment was stamped on a piece of Pool Party Designer Series Paper from the Subtles 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Pack. The background is a piece of Designer Series Paper from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper Pack. In Good Taste is included in this month's 15% off Designer Series Paper Sale! September Customer Thank You Card

I was going through the photos on my phone earlier today and realized I never shared the thank you card I sent out to those that ordered from me in September. I am so proud to have earned your business and I am so grateful for every order that you place with me. It's my pleasure to send you a hand made card and a small gift as a thank you when your order is $50 or more.

For this card, I used a card base of Bumblebee card stock topped with a layer of Whisper White card stock. Next, I added a layer of patterned paper from the Plaid Tidings 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper collection. Plaid Tiding is one of the paper packs included in this month's Designer Series Paper Sale. I added a banner of Early Espresso card stock and a smaller banner of Brushed Metallic 12" x 12" card stock. The sentiment is from Massive Thanks. I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso on Whisper White card stock and cut it out with the Stitched Nested Label dies. I added a bow using the 3/8" Embroidered Ribbon.

A Very Merry Christmas

A local group is having a fundraising vendor show this weekend. While I'm not able to participate at the show, I donated a pack of Christmas cards for them to add to their Chinese auction. I hope they do well!

These cards were fun to make and went together very quickly.

The card base is Real Red card stock topped by a layer of Very Vanilla. The next layer is 2 designs from the Toile Christmas Designer Series Paper Pack (on sale through the end of October), with a strip of Red Velvet Paper dividing the two designs. The sentiment is from the Gift Wrapped stamp set. It is stamped in Real Red ink on a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and cut out with an oval from the Stitched Shapes Dies and adhered to the card front with Dimensionals. Finally, I added a Red Rhinestone Basic Jewel to "dot the i".

Forever Greenery Thank You

I recently discovered I was running low on Thank You cards, so I'm on a mission to replenish that supply. Personally I think that's the best kind of card to be low on and a good problem to have!

So I grabbed some of my favorite Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper and got started on making some new cards.

The layouts for these cards are quite basic and they go together quickly. Both allow the Designer Series Paper to do the heavy lifting for the cards.
