Happy New Year

Happy New Year!  And to 2020, don't let the door hit you on the way out!  This week I sent a New Year's card and 2021 calendar to all my customers that ordered from me during 2020.  This year, more than any in recent years, a calendar seems like a great gift.

Below is the card I sent.

The card base is Basic Black.  Next is a layer of Gold Foil card stock embossed with the Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder.  The words are from the Word Wishes Dies cut from Gold Foil cardstock.  I adhered the words to a piece of Basic Black cardstock.  I placed the panel in a Clear Medium Envelope and added sequins from my stash.  After sealing the envelope and folding over and taping the excess, I attached the envelope to the card with Dimensionals.  The ribbon is the Fine Arts 3/8" Ribbon that will be available in the new Spring Mini.  

The calendar is a desk top style calendar using the Playful Alphabet Dies and patterned paper, Flower and Field, from the Jan-Feb Saleabration promotion.

Holiday Thank You's

 Do you have some scraps of holiday paper laying around?  Put them to good use to make your holiday Thank You cards!  I used the Classic Christmas 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper (available through January 4, 2021).  

I added a greeting from Massive Thanks cut out with one of the stitched dies for each card.

Approaching Perfection Birthday Saleabration Sneak Peek

 Hello friends,

I have a very spring-y looking sneak peek for you today.  This card uses 2 new Sale-a-bration products.  Here's a look at my card.

The Saleabration products are Approaching Perfection, a 7 stamp cling stamp set and the gorgeous Flower & Field Designer Series Paper Pack.  I also used the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder and Stitched So Sweetly Dies to complete my card.

Parade of Christmas Cards

 Merry Christmas Friends,

Don't Stop Believin'

 I'm so sad the Don't Stop Believin' stamp set is retiring,  I love all the images and sentiments in this set.  For today's card I used the Santa image.

I stamped Santa in Memento Tuxedo Black on Whisper White cardstock and colored him with Stampin' Blends.  I added Wink of Stella to the "fuzzy" cuff of the Santa suit and the trim and ball of the hat.  I used the Layered Oval Dies to cut out Santa.  The sentiment was cut out with the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  A background patterned paper from the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper pack bordered with Real Red cardstock completes the card.
