The Adventure Begins

 Hey there everyone,

This month's Paper Pumpkin, The Adventure Begins, is a truly fun kit!  

The kit makes 12 cards, 4 of each design.  They are tri-fold style cards, so they have a lot of dimension.  I liked them so much that I immediate made up the whole kit.

Encircled in Warmth - Sneak Peek

 Hi everyone!

It's a sneak peek day today!  I was playing with different designs for cards for an upcoming swap.  I made today's card and I really like it!  But then I re-read the rules for the swap and realized I couldn't use it.  So, while it's a cute card, I won't be making 21 more of them.  <grin>.

The Designer Series Paper (the penguin and the background paper) is a Sale-a-bration item,  Penguin Playmates.  The stamped greeting is from a new August-December Mini Catatalog stamp set, Encircled in Warmth.  The die cut is the Encircled in Beauty dies (an annual catalog item).  Also from the annual catalog are the Just Jade and Gold Braided Ribbon and the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Brew Some Fun

 Hey everyone,

Thursday during my Facebook Live I made a birthday card/gift card holder and a coordinating decorated coffee cup.

The picture below shows my prototype on the left and the version made during the Live on the right. 

I wasn't totally happy with the card I made during the Live, so after it was over, I added a little stamping and I like it much better now.

And here is the "Live".  There is a link to the mini coffee cups/lids that I use on You Tube.

Pirates & Mermaids

 Hi everyone,

Today I have a fun, interactive birthday card for you!  I used the super cute Pirates & Mermaids (#`155703) for my card.

I used the Give It A Whirl Dies (# 154336) to make the card interactive.  Below are the other 2 views "as the wheel turns."

If you haven't used the Give It A Whirl dies, I recommend them.  They are a lot of fun and make interactive card-making easy!

Bamboo Beauty Birthday

 Hey everyone,

Thanks for stopping in today!  I have another great birthday card to share with you today!  When the annual catalog was first introduced to demonstrators, the Bamboo Beauty stamp set really caught my eye.  I wasn't sure how I would use it, but I wanted it!  It arrived in my last order so I paired it up with Happiest of Birthdays for my monochromatic card.

To make my card I stamped bamboo branches and leaves in Garden Green ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock.  Using a separate scrap of Basic White I stamped the greeting and die cut it using the Hippo & Friends dies.  I used a piece of Garden Green cardstock to frame the stamped panel.   And I used a piece of 6" x 6" Regals Designer Series Paper to die cut a frame for the sentiment.  I used some Genial Gems sprinkled on the front to complete the card.

Sweet As A Peach Birthday

 Hi everyone!

Over the past few weeks my birthday card stash has really taken a hit.  So for the next few days I'm sharing birthday cards while I rebuild my supply.

First up is this card I made for a recent color challenge.  The colors I used are Pale Papaya, Old Olive, and Balmy Blue.  I also used Calypso Coral for my flower centers.

I stamped the branches in Old Olive on a piece of Basic White cardstock.  Next, I added the stamped panel to a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock, wrapping both with several strands of Linen Thread and tying a bow.  On another scrap of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the flowers and using the dies in the bundle I die cut the flowers.  I attached the flowers using Mini Glue Dots.  Finally, I stamped the sentiment in Balmy Blue on another scrap of Basic White cardstock and flagged the ends using the Banners Pick A Punch.  To complete the card, I added a panel of You're A Peach Designer Series Paper to a Balmy Blue card base.  I added the stamped panel with Dimensionals and added a sprinkling Genial Gems.

Plentiful Plants Workshop By Mail

 Hi everyone,

It's time for my July Workshop By Mail is here!  This month I've chosen the wonderful Plentiful Plants stamp set and dies for the workshop.  This set is so versatile! And the Designer Series Paper, Bloom Where You're Planted, is amazing!

You will make 8 cards - 2 each of 4 designs!

 

All the design work and a lot of the prep work is done for you!  You will receive a color pdf (sent by email) with photos and instructions for each of the projects.  In addition, I will send you at least $24 in product that you can use to keep on creating after making the class projects. (Inks and adhesives are not included).

Cost of the class is $38.00, which includes shipping to you by priority mail.  The stamp set and dies are not included.  The cards have been designed so you can use any stamp set in your stash.  However, if you would like to add on the bundle, you may do so at a discounted price of $38.00.

Note:  if you are local and able to pick up your materials, please subtract $8.00 from the registration fee.
