The Hope Box

 Hi everyone,

I hope you had a good weekend!  I spent a large part of the weekend attending virtual leadership training from Stampin' Up! as part of their annual "Backstage" event.  It was a great event and I'm looking forward to catching up on the remaining sessions over the next couple of days.  

Last week during my Live on Facebook, I assembled the current Paper Pumpkin kit, The Hope Box.  The kit makes 9 cards with coordinating envelopes and includes supplies to decorate the box as well.  Below are photos of the cards and the box.

Bright Baubles

 Hi there friends,

A couple of weeks ago I mentioned that I was participating in a swap with several other demonstrators.  Today I'm sharing the second of the two cards I made for the swap.  If you missed the first one, you can see it here.

Today's card is a Christmas card and uses the wonderful Bright Baubles bundle.

My card uses a Cherry Cobbler base, topped with a Basic White layer.  Next up is another layer of Cherry Cobbler that has been embossed with the Star-Crossed Embossing Folder.  The base of the ornament is from the Tidings of Christmas 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper.  The white detailed ornament is the Snowy White 12" x 12" Velvet Sheets.  The ornament hanger is from the Brushed Metallic card stock.  The greeting is stamped in Cherry Cobbler on a Basic White scrap.  The one end is flagged with the Banner Pick a Punch.

Penguin Place Friend

 Hi everyone!

I went back to the Penguin Place for today's adorable card!  And I have some tips for you on how I made the penguin that I know you're going to like!

My card base is Soft Sea Foam cardstock.  On a Basic White panel, I added 2 pieces of Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper and tied a Fresh Freesia ribbon around the middle.  Then I stamped the greeting on Basic White cardstock scraps and  cut them out.  

To make the penguin, using the Penguin Builder Punch, I punched the body out of Black Glimmer Paper.  I punched the penguin chest out of the Snowy White Velvet Sheet.  I stamped the eyes on the velvet sheet using Memento Tuxedo Black.  The beak and feet are from the Ombre Specialty paper.  And the scarf was stamped on a piece of scrap cardstock and cut out.

Clever Cats

 Hi everyone,

Are you a dog person or a cat person?  We are mostly dog people, but the Clever Cats stamp set in the Fall Mini Catalog is just the cutest!  Take a look.  His (or her) attitude speaks to me!

This easy to assemble card has very little stamping - the cat and the sentiment.  So, it's an easy one to mass produce, if needed.  The card base is Basic Black and a layer of Basic White was adhered to that.  Next, I used a panel from the Cute Halloween 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper that I wrapped with a piece of  Highland Heather 1/2" Grosgrain Ribbon.  The stamped panel is framed with a piece of Basic Black card stock and adhered with Dimensionals.  Finally, I sprinkled some Cute Stars Adhesive Backed Sequins to complete the card.

Holly Jolly Wishes

 Hi everyone!

Delicate Dahlias Sympathy

 Hi there friends,

Dahlias are beautiful flowers!  And my garden is full of them!  I used the Delicate Dahlias stamp set for a recent swap.  What makes this swap different from the one I talked about yesterday is that for this one I had to make 21 cards of the same design.  And I got a like number of different cards in return.  This particular swap is a Saleabration swap, meaning our cards should highlight a Saleabration product.  Today I'm sharing the card I made.  Tomorrow I'll share some of the Saleabration cards I got in return!

I stamped the flowers in Pumpkin Pie and Cherry Cobbler inks.  The stamped panel is framed by a panel of Cherry Cobbler.  My card base is Crumb Cake and I added another panel of Crumb Cake card stock that I embossed/die cut with the Stitched Greenery Die.  

I stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler on Basic White cardstock and punched it out, along with the Crumb Cake frame using the Double Oval Punch.
