Perfectly Plaid - Christmas In July

It's a little tough trying to get in the mood for Christmas crafting when the temps and humidity outside are through the roof!  But, we crafters need to get things made so we can enjoy the season, too!  By nature I'm a procrastinator so that complicates matters even more.

For my first card of the season I wanted to use all products available in the annual catalog so you can make this card now as well.

I'm also submitting my card for the weekly challenge over at "The Spot".

I've been lurking around their challenges for a couple of weeks now and decided to participate this week.  Check out their work for yourself by clicking the image above.


I stamped the tree image in Just Jade and Cinnamon Cider and cut it out with the Pine Tree punch.  The tree was attached with Dimensionals to a base of Whisper White card stock and Champagne Foil cut out with the Stitched Shape dies and Layering Ovals Dies.  The ovals were attached to the card base with Dimensionals.  The sentiment was stamped on a piece of Whisper White card stock scrap paper and cut out with the Banner Triple punch.   It was also attached to the card base with Dimensionals.  Finally, I "decorated" the tree with Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
