Summer Nights

The Paper Pumpkin kit for July is called Summer Nights.  The kit contains all the supplies for 9 post card style cards with envelopes and 9 die cut tea light bags.  This month's kit also offered a set of coordinating cards with envelopes.  I made up the kit per the directions enclosed, but I've already seen dozens of super cute alternative projects made with the supplies from the kit.

Think how cute these would look sitting on tables for your outdoor summer party.  So fun!

And here are the postcard style cards.  I think I will probably end up attaching these to a card base, but they are as cute as can be.  Stampin' Up! did a great job of evoking great memories of the summer nights of my childhood!

I also made up one card from the add on card pack.  There are different designs, but each is similar to one of the postcard backgrounds above.  

I cut the card front from the back and trimmed down the front so I could use the card back as a background.  The card front was adhered to a Blackberry Bliss card base.  The gold twine is from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack.  Everything else is from the kit.

Finally,  I used a blank piece of Whisper White card stock and stamped multiple images from the stamp set all over it to create my own patterned paper.

I cut off a piece of the card stock 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" and paired it with Blackberry Bliss and Coastal Cabana card stock, a sentiment from Happiest of Birthdays stamp set, and couple of die cut from the Hippo & Friends dies.
