Hello stampers!

Wow, what a cool, wet weekend here in the St. Louis area!  It really felt like fall here on Sunday!  Where did summer go?

Thanks to the weather, I had plenty of crafting time this weekend.

First, I spent a couple hours going through my MDS downloads and picking up those I wanted for my collection before they are gone.  Next step is to back them up!  If any of you are MDS users and have questions about what to use when MDS is no longer supported by Stampin' Up!, let me know.  I will send you what I have.

Next, I made a card!  This is the first card I've made in a couple weeks and it felt great to create again!  For today's card, I used the sketch for this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge from Karren for my inspiration.  It's a great sketch and can be used for so many wonderful cards!

Paper Pumpkin - May 2015

Hi there stampers!

Today I am sharing the May Paper Pumpkin kit.  

I always look forward to getting the kit in the mail each month.  I can't wait to open it and see the projects inside!  This month was not a disappointment!

The kit has enough supplies to make 4 bags and 6 cards!  And I really like the stamps this month, too!

Sneak Peek - Seize the Cake

Greetings stampers!

I have another sneak peek for you today.  This is a really quick and easy card using a couple new products.  One is the Cherry on Top DSP stack.  I've used the Cherry on Top DSP stack on other cards as well.  When you see it you will love the bright, cheery colors!  

The Cherry on Top paper and greeting are backed by another new paper from the catalog,  It's called Cotton Paper.  It's a light weight, sturdy alternative to regular DSP or cardstock. The best way I can describe this paper is that it's like a very heavy tissue paper.

The greeting is framed using the Banner Triple punch.   It's another new tool that you are going to have to have!  

And the greeting itself is from the returning set, Something to Say, and is stamped in the new In Color, Watermelon Wonder.

Finally, because I made this card a 4 x 4, I needed a custom envelope for it.  So, I pulled out my handy Envelope Punch Board and new Envelope Paper!  Yes, another new product this year is envelope paper!  This is a lighter weight paper and really is great for envelopes....and for cards, of course!

June 2 will be here in less than a week!  Have you decided what you will order first?  My list is a mile long.  I still have to figure out what I need first.  Such a decision!

Sneak Peek! Sprinkles of LIfe

Hi everyone!

I hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend!  Our weekend was really nice and it's finally starting to feel more like summer around here!

Today I'm sharing a card from make using the new Sprinkles of Life set that will be available on June 2.  This is the new Ronald McDonald House Charity set and Stampin' Up! will donate $3.00 from the sale of each set to RMHC.  It's a great set, so be sure to check it out on the inside of the back cover of the new catalog.  

There is a great punch, Tree Builder, that partners with this very versatile set.

The cupcake base is stamped in Delightful Dijon and the cupcake top is stamped in and on Mint Macaron, topped with sprinkles stamped in Watercolor Wonder

The card base is the new Watermelon Wonder in color, and the DSP is from the Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper Stack.

The banner with the greeting is made using the new Banner Triple Punch.

There are a lot of new products at work on this card!

Happy Memorial Day!

Hi everyone!
