Whew, fall blew into town overnight....what a shock to the system! It's supposed to warm up nicely this afternoon....I love this time of year!
In the past, I've shown a couple of items made with card collections from Project Life. The new collections in the holiday mini are outstanding! Today, we're taking a closer look at the Seasonal Snapshot 2015 collection.
The collection consists of the Card Collection (#139651):
The Accessory Pack (#139652):
and also included in the Seasonal Snapshot 2015 Bundle (#140308) is this very versatile stamp set:
It's a really fun set....and not just for scrapbooking! Here are a couple of cards I made with the items from the Seasonal Snapshot 2015 bundle.
If you've never considered one of these bundles, I hope you'll take another look!

Several weeks ago, when DH and I traveled to the east coast over Labor Day weekend, the primary reason for our trip was the marriage of our nephew to the love of his life. Today I am sharing the card I made for them.
The bride's chosen colors were purple (Eggplant envy) and burlap, and they were in prominent display during the ceremony and the reception. Here is a picture from the wedding.
My very talented sister made the invitations and I designed my card to keep in the theme.

Not only is it the end of the week, but the weekend should be a lot of fun! We have a team picnic at work on Friday, so we will all be leaving the office around 11....already a good day! Then on Sunday, the whole family is going to the NFL game to see our Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Rams!!! The tickets for this game are my DH's Father's Day gift, so we've been waiting a long while for this day.
And, the best news of all, my very talented sister has sufficiently recovered that she is back to making wonderful cards! Today's card is no exception.

This week is off to a busy start! It's just the beginning of what will be a very busy next month and a half for me. That's good for me....I seem to thrive under busy-ness.
One thing I'm doing is putting together everything I want to have for a craft show where I'll have a booth on October 24. So, I have a question for all of you....what types of things do you like to buy at a craft show? Leave a comment here or send me an email. I would love to hear from you.
Before I share today's card, I want to pass along this note from Stampin' Up! regarding the Witching Decor Project kit (#140499)..

Another weekend gone too soon! We sure got a lot done around here....not all good stuff, either. We closed our pool for the season and that's always a little sad. It had to be done, and it was time, but it's our "official" end of summer. Poor DH had to jump in the pool one more time this morning to get the ladder out and when he got out of the pool, there was steam coming off his body! Yep, it was time to close the pool!
Before I get to today's projects, I want to thank the crew at Can You Case It. Teresa selected my card, Fall, as her Design Team Pick of the Week! If you missed that post, click here to see that post. So Teresa, thank you so much!
The mailman brought my orange box on Saturday! Yes, this month's Paper Pumpkin! I couldn't wait to tear into it to see this month's surprise. The kit, Wickedly Sweet Treats, includes enough supplies to make 8 of the treat holders. Here is one made up following the instructions:
Here is the video from Stampin' Up! showing how the kit is made up.
And here is a card that I made up with some of the supplies from the kit.
If you are not currently a Paper Pumpkin subscriber, now is a great time to sign up!

Mini spoiler alert! The October project inside the pink box is just as awesome as always, but we should probably let you know that it is not a pink project. That's all we're saying. ;)

Hi everyone! I hope you've had a good week! Do you have any big plans for the weekend? I want to get some of my fall decorations out this weekend. And of course, spend some time stamping! My very talented sister is still on the mend this week, so no Friday card from her. Hopefully she will be feeling well enough to return next week. I have a very cool story for you today...at least I think it's cool! I've been selling some of my retired stamp sets through a group on Facebook. This week, I posted a new batch of stamps - I have to make room for all the stamps I've purchased from this year's holiday mini! It's always an agonizing decision for me to figure out which sets I can live without. Anyhow, I digress. Back to my story. This week, I sold several sets to local ladies. So, rather than mail their purchases, we've met and completed the transaction in person. On Wednesday, I met a lovely lady, Julie, that bought one of my stamp sets. I gave her the stamps, and she gave me an envelope:
After I got back to my desk (we met at my office), I opened the envelope and found this great card inside along with the payment:
What a nice surprise! And what a pretty classic clean card! Once I saw the card, I send a message to Julie asking if I could share it with you here. She said yes. So Julie, thank you! What a really nice unexpected surprise. You made my day! What about you? Have you given a card to someone recently for no special reason? The DSP (Sweater Weather) for the envelope and the card base (Baked Brown Sugar) are retired. The other cardstock colors are Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. Crumb Cake is also the color of the background stamp. The stamp set, For All Things (#135155), is from the current annual catalog.

It's warming up a little around here, but the weather is still gorgeous! It's hard to stay inside when Mother Nature is serving up the beautiful late summer / early fall weather! The brisk mornings and the falling leaves are just a sign of what's to come!
I am submitting today's card for this week's sketch challenge over at Can You Case It? Here is the sketch:
