August Workshop In The Mail

3.  You will receive by mail from me all the supplies to complete 2 each of 3 different projects.  Also included are the written directions, with photos, to complete the projects.  I will mail the supplies to you by the Sept. 10, 2019.  The tutorials will be sent by email to the email address attached to your order.  Ink, stamped images, and adhesives are not included.

For August, the projects use the Healing Hugs stamp set.

Merry Moose - Sneak Peek

I couldn't resist -- one more sneak peek from the Holiday Catalog.  This time I used the so cute Merry Moose bundle.

Here's a look at my card.

To create my card I started with a card base of Thick Whisper White Card Stock.  I added a bordering panel of the must have Wrapped In Plaid 6" x 6" Specialty Designer Series Paper.  

For the image panel, I stamped the background trees in Garden Green and Shaded Spruce.  For each tree, I stamped off once to give the trees a softer appearance.  The "snow" and the sentiment are stamped in Gray Granite.  The moose is stamped in Soft Suede and the antlers are colored with the White Stampin' Chalk Marker to lighten up their appearance.  The scarf  is stamped in Merry Merlot.  I cut out the sentiment using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  The sentiment background is a piece of Gold Foil punched out using the Timeless Label Punch and cut in half.

Gather Together - Sneak Peek

Greetings stampers!

Continuing our week of Holiday Catalog sneak peeks, today I sharing products from the Come to Gather Suite.  This beautiful group of products is perfect for all things Fall and Thanksgiving.  

Here's a look at my card.

To create my card, I started with a card base of Very Vanilla.  To that, I added a piece of Pretty Peacock card stock topped with a panel from the Come To Gather Designer Series Paper Pack.  

The sentiment panel is stamped Pretty Peacock for the sentiment, Soft Suede for the wheat, and Crumb Cake stamped off once for the background.  I cut it out using the Stitched Shapes Dies, backed by a larger oval from Layering Ovals.  I added a length of ribbon from the Come To Gather Ribbon Combo Pack to finish off my card.

Monster Bash - Sneak Peek

Hi everyone!

I am so excited to share today's projects with you!  Yep, that's right - two projects - from the Monster Bash Suite.  Stampin' Up! always manages to come up with some cute products for Halloween; and this year is no exception!

Here is a look at my projects:

I made a card and a coffin treat box.  Don't you love it all?

Let's take a closer look at the card:

The card starts with a base of Crumb Cake card stock.  On top of that, I added a piece of Terracotta Tile card stock.  The card stock was embossed with the Stylish Scroll embossing folder.  Next, I added a length of Basic Black 3/8" Scalloped Edge Ribbon and topped it off with a piece of Designer Series Paper from the Monster Bash Designer Series Paper Pack.  

My sentiment is from the Spooktacular Bash stamp set and is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black on a piece of Whisper White card stock.  I cut out the sentiment and frame using the Ornate Frames Dies.  The frame itself is Black Foil.  The sentiment is adhered to the card front using Dimensionals.

Now here's a look at the super cute Coffin Treat Box!

Aren't these seriously the cutest?  They are sold in a pack of 12 lids and boxes.  To create my "coffin", I embossed the lid with the Stylish Scroll embossing folder and then, using a dauber, I sponged some Delicata Gold Glitz ink along the edges and raised surfaces.  It has a great "antique-y" look to it!  The boxes and lids assemble very easily with only a bone folder to burnish the fold lines and a little Tombow to glue the edges.  The assembled box is food safe and is 2-1/8" x 3-78" x 1-1/4".  They will easily hold a fun size chocolate bar or other smaller Halloween treats.  I finished of my box with a sentiment from Spooktacular Bash stamped in Pumpkin Pie ink.  I cut out the sentiment using the Ornate Frames Dies and sponged the edge in Pumpkin Pie.  Finally I tied length of Black Basic 3/8" Scalloped Edge Ribbon around the box.

Christmas Gleaming - Sneak Peek

Hi there crafty people,

Welcome back to "Sneak Peek Week"!  

Today we're taking a look at several products from the Brightly Gleaming Suite and the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set.

First, here's a look at my card.

The card base is Night of Navy card stock.  The base layer is from the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.  The paper are all accented with copper foil.   It's really beautiful in person.

Next is a small strip of Night of Navy card stock and a smaller strip of Copper Foil embossed with the new Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder.  The sentiment is from Christmas Gleaming and stamped in the new Delicata Celestial Copper Metallic Ink on a piece of Very Vanilla card stock.  

Just a note here about the Delicata Metallic Inks.  They come in Celestial Copper, Golden Glitz, and Silvery Shimmer.  The pads are soft, so you have to really ink up your stamps.  This is the opposite of the Stampin' Up! pads, which require a lighter touch.  But, the coverage and color of the Delicata pads will not disappoint.  They are pigment inks, so will take a little bit of time to dry.  Of course, using your heat gun will speed up the process.  All in all, they are easy to work with and leave a clear stamped image!

Finally, I cut out the sentiment using the Stitched Shape Dies and Star Designer Elements and Brightly Gleaming Foil Elements to complete the card front.

For the inside of my card, I stamped the sentiment and edging in Night of Navy ink on Very Vanilla card stock.  The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Christmas and the edging is part of the Christmas Gleaming stamp set.

Playful Penguins - Sneak Peek

Hi everyone!

Verdant Garden Card Idea

Hey there crafty people!

Every component of the Garden Lane Suite appeals to me.  So, I put the pieces together for today's card.  I think it's perfect for a wedding, anniversary, or engagement.  Take a look!

The card base is Pear Pizzazz card stock.  Next, I layered.  a piece of designer series paper from the Garden Lane Designer Series Paper pack.

To create the main panel, I stamped off the vine image in Pear Pizzazz and then stamped it all over the top 2/3 of the Whisper White card stock panel cut out with the Stitched Rectangle Dies.   On top of that, I stamped the vine image without stamping off first.  The sentiment is stamped in Mossy Meadow.

I cut another piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock with the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  Using a length of 3/8" Metallic Edge Ribbon in Silver, I colored the ribbon in the Light Old Olive Stampin' Blends marker.  I simply wrapped the ribbon around the Pear Pizzazz ribbon.  Finally, all panels were layered and attached to the card base.
