I went back to the Annual Catalog for today's very summery feeling card.  It's from the Seaside View stamp set.  And I've included a free project sheet for this card so you can make it for yourself!

I love the images in this stamp set and they're so easy to color with Stampin Blends or Watercolor Pencils.  I used Blends for my card.  Click the photo image above to go to the free project sheet, complete with measurements and product numbers to make this card for yourself!

Festive Post - Sneak Peek

All week I've been sharing projects made with the Posted For You stamp set and the Rectangular Postage Stamp punch.  Today I'm sharing more projects made with the punch, but this time using the Festive Post stamp set available beginning August 4!  

Let's take a closer look - there are several "sneak peeks" in these projects!

This card has a piece of a Silver Foil Sheet embossed with the Dainty Diamonds 3D embossing folder.  Three of the stamps are pieces of Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper.  The sentiment, on the fourth stamp is from Festive Post and stamped in Pool Party.  The ribbon is the 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding.  This ribbon is white, but I colored it with the Pool Party Stampin' Blends markers.  (Using the Blends to color a white ribbon makes it so easy to customize the ribbon to whatever color you need for your project).

These cute tags are both stamped with images and sentiments in Festive Post.  I used the Fancy Tag Topper Punch to cut out the tags.  The Christmas tag has a background of paper from the Trimming The Tree Designer Series Paper pack.  The Halloween tag has a background of the new Black Glimmer paper.

Posted For You

Last time I shared this card with you.

But, that wasn't the end of it.  I have two more cards to share with you using this same bundle.  These are birthday cards and use the same image in the punched stamp, but are completely different.  Take a look.

For this card, the stamped images are colored with Stampin' Write Markers on Whisper White card stock.  The punched out images are attached to a piece of vellum card stock and then attached to a piece of designer series paper.  I added a bow from Linen Thread and the sentiment.  The colors for this card are Poppy Parade and Just Jade.

For this card, I stamped the floral image in Memento Tuxedo Black and punched out 5 stamps.  Stampin' Blends in Magenta Madness and Just Jade were used to color the images.  I stamped the floral image all over a piece of Magenta Madness card stock.  I layered the stamps on the left side of the card and used Snips to trim off the excess.  The image panel was attached to a piece of Just Jade card stock.  Then sentiment was stamped in Versa Mark on Just Jade card stock and embossed with white embossing powder.  I used the Banners Pick A Punch (August-Dec Mini) to create the banner for the sentiment.

Just A Note Posted For You

Over the weekend I pulled out the Posted For You Bundle from the annual catalog to make a couple of cards to share with you.  After I completed my cards, I was looking through some emails and realized today's card is perfect for this week's sketch challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches.  

I like to look at the some of the various challenges each week.  Sometimes they get my mind moving in new directions.  Other times, I know I have a card that "fits" as is the case today.  

So,  here's my fun card.

And here's the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.

I used the Artistry Blooms Designer Series Paper on Whisper White card stock and adhered it to a piece of Granny Apple Green card stock to create the background for my card.  I stamped the image on a piece of Whisper White card stock and cut it out with the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch.  The image was colored with Stampin Blends in Granny Apple Green, Just Jade, and Balmy Blue.  I adhered the stamped image to a piece of Granny Apple Green card stock cut out with one of the Stitched Shapes circle dies.  The piece was then attached to the card front with Dimensionals.  The sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black along the side of the bottom triangle.

Little Treat Boxes - Sneak Peek

Hello friends!

I have another sneak peek from the new August - December Mini Catalog for you today.  There are so many things I love about the new catalogs and these Little Treat Boxes are really high on my list of favorite things!

How cute, right?  The box is cut from a one piece die and requires minimal adhesive to adhere them.

The box on the right is made without modification to the box; it was assembled as it was cut.  For the box on the left, I cut off the scalloped top.  But that's the only modification.

As you can see, I added a BBW Hand Sanitizer to the box on the left.  It's a tight fit, but I think that's ok.  Packaging for the hand sanitizers is one of the most popular items I make.  I added Ghiradelli chocolates to the box on the right.  It holds 2 candies.  For comparison purposes, I tried some different chocolates I have on hand.  The photo below shows what fits in the Little Treat Box.

Blossoms In Bloom - Color Challenge

Hello crafty people,

A couple of weeks ago I participated in a two demonstrator activities.  Both were a lot of fun and I learned so much!  For one event, we had a color challenge and the colors were chosen by the "color king" ... as in Brian King.  Brian is well known among demonstrators for his love of color.  At any rate, the colors he chose for us were:  So Saffron, Flirty Flamingo, and Cinnamon Cider.  While these are not colors I would have chosen together, I like the way my card turned out.  You've seen this card layout from me before, but not with these colors.
