Dragonfly Garden

 Hello friends,

I love that when I want to color a card, Stampin' Up! gives me so many options to do so.  For today's card, I selected the Dragonfly Garden stamp set.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I used Blending Brushes to apply Pool Party ink to the top half of my card and Granny Apple Green to the bottom half of the card.   I stamped all images in Memento Tuxedo Black and then colored the flower images and leaves with Stampin' Blends.  I added a piece of Cinnamon Cider DSP and a Bumblebee Ribbon to the Basic White Thick cardstock base and then added my stamped and colored panel with Dimensionals.  

If you haven't tried coloring lately, give it a try!  I find it to be very relaxing!

Whiskey Business

 Hello friends!

Last week we celebrated my hubby's birthday.  I made a couple of cards for him.  This one uses the soon-to-be-retired Whiskey Business.

Round of Applause

 Hi friends,

Graduation "season" is right around the corner.  I sued the retiring Round of Applause stamp set to make today's graduation card.

To create my card I stamped the graduation cap in Gray Granite ink all over a piece of Gray Granite cardstock.  I stamped the design and sentiment in Gray Granite ink on Basic White cardstock.   I die cut the image with the Stitched Shapes circle die.  I also stamped a graduation cap in Memento Tuxedo Black on a scrap of Basic White cardstock and cut it out with Snips.  A piece of Champagne Foil cardstock die cut with the Stitched So Sweetly dies is layered under the circle.  The Banners Pick A Punch was used to create a flag end to the "congratulations" banner.  And the image panel is framed with Basic Black cardstock.

Sweet Ice Cream Workshop By Mail

 Hello Friends,

I am so excited to announce this month's workshop by mail, Sweet Ice Cream.  I've been planning this one for a few months now, but the products haven't been in stock long enough for me to get the offering out there.  

You will make 8 cards - 2 each of 4 designs, plus a bonus project!  

All the design work and a lot of the prep work is done for you!  You will receive a color pdf (sent by email) with photos and instructions for each of the projects.  In addition, I will send you at least $24 in product that you can use to keep on creating after making the class projects. (Inks and adhesives are not included).

Cost of the class is $37.00, which includes shipping to you by priority mail.  The stamp set and ice cream cone punch are not included.  However, if you would like to add on the bundle, you may do so at a discounted price of $26.75.

Reserve your kit by April 27.  Kits will ship out to you no later than May 15.

To reserve your kit, send payment via Venmo or Zelle (rich63376@yahoo.com).  (I am trying to move away from PayPal to avoid their fees, however, if you do not have Venmo or Zelle, you can use PayPal here).

Local folks, a limited space in-person version of this workshop will be held at Simply You Soap & Candle Co on May 15 at noon.  Watch my Facebook page and newsletter for information about reserving your spot.
