In Symmetry - Thanks

Hi everyone!

I hope your week is off to a good start!  Now that the chilly wet May has finally left our area, hubby and I have been working like crazy to get our planting and yard work done.  At the end of last week I cleaned out all my flower beds and planted 50 flower and tomato plants in one day!  Muscles that had long been forgotten were happy to let me know they're still around!  And then today I planted 20 more flowers.  Thankfully I'm almost done!

The annual catalog is so full of really cool, fun products and I want to be sure to share them with you.  So today I'm sharing a card made with products from the Sweet Symmetry product suite and one of those wonderful stand-alone dies, Stitched Greenery.

I loosely CASED a card from page 112 when creating my card.  Calypso Coral and Just Jade are the colors I used.  In addition, I used the fabulous Stitched Greenery die to create the detailed background on the card front.  The Stitched With Whimsy dies frame the greeting that was heat embossed with white embossing powder.   All in all it's a fun, summery card.

Beauty of the Earth - Inspire

 Hello everyone!

I love the Beauty of the Earth suite from the new annual catalog.  The stamps, the dies, the embossing folder, and the designer series paper.  They're all beautiful!

Today I made a card to show you some of the stamps - and also the fantastic Tailor Made Tags dies.

New this year in the annual catalog, there are several dies and embossing folders that are not directly tied to a stamp set as part of a suite or bundle.  So unless you are going through the catalog specifically looking for what's new, it's easy to overlook them.  The Tailor Made Tags dies are one of those.  I think they add a lot to a project and I love their detail.  See them on page 166 in the catalog.

To create my card, I stamped the tree on a piece of Basic White cardstock and die cut the image with the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I stamped the greeting in Soft Suede ink also on a piece of Basic White cardstock and die cut it with the Tailor Made Tags.  I used another die in the set to die cut the reinforcement from a piece of Soft Suede cardstock.

I used a piece of Old Olive Designer Series Paper from the Regals 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Assortment framed with a piece of Pool Party cardstock.

Spiral Dye Birthday

 There are so many "fun" tools in the new Stampin' Up! annual catalog.  I used three of my favorites for this birthday card.

I used the Spiral Dye stamp set inked up with Coastal Cabana and stamped the tie dye image.  I used the Stamparatus to ensure I got even coverage with the stamp.  Then, I turned the panel 180 degrees in my Stamparatus and stamped again without re-inking.  

Next I used the Biggest Wish stamp set to stamp the greeting using Coastal Cabana and Pear Pizzazz inks.   I cut out the greeting using the Tailor Made Tags.  This die set is a new one that may be easily overlooked because it is a stand alone product and not associated with a bundle.  But it's a must have to me!

Finally, I sprinkled some Artistry in Bloom Adhesive Backed Sequins on the card and framed the panel with a piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock.
