The last time Stampin' Up! I remember Stampin' Up! selling glossy white card stock, I was a beginning stamper. I had no one to teach me how to use it and no Pinterest. To say my creations were a disaster is an understatement. So, when my fellow demonstrators were so excited about the return of glossy white card stock with the current catalog, I decided to do a little research and give it another try. My experience this time has been so different. Today I'm sharing the first card I created with the glossy white card stock.
To create the background, I combined a bunch of techniques. I wish I had taken photos along the way, but truly, I was just experimenting. First I started with swiping Lemon Lime Twist and Pool Party Classic Stamp Pads across the panel. Next, I added drops of reinker in Pear Pizzazz, Pool Party, and Bermuda Bay on the panel. I spritzed the panel with some water and then tilted the panel so the ink would go where it wanted. Finally, I used my heat gun to speed the drying process (I'm not known for my patience!) I colored the mermaid with blender pen.
