Kangaroo & Company Pocket Card

 Hello friends,

The Kangaroo & Company bundle on page 17 of the Stampin' Up! spring mini is so fun!  There are so many fun elements in both the stamp set and the dies.  I recently used the bundle to make a couple of birthday cards.

I made both cards using the pocket card style.

Saleabration Card of the Week - Heal Your Heart

 Hello Friends,

We're at about the halfway point for Sale-a-bration.  There are so many wonderful products available in this year's Sale-a-bration brochure.  I want to show them some love.

This week's card uses the Heal Your Heart stamp set and Flower & Field Designer Series Paper.  Both are Level 1 items, meaning they are each free with a $50 purchase.

The card base is Misty Moonlight.  A layer of Misty Moonlight, embossed with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder was adhered to the card base.  Next there is a layer of Basic White that borders a strip of designer series paper from Flower & Field Designer Series Paper.  I stamped the greeting in Misty Moonlight and cut it out with a circle from the Stitched Shape Dies.  A heart from the Stitched Be Mine Dies was adhered to the side of the greeting.  I added a bow from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack and a couple of Opal Rounds complete the card.

Snail Mail

 Hello Friends!  

I think the Snail Mail suite in the Stampin' Up! spring mini catalog is adorable!  I used it to create today's card.

That little snail is adorable!  I used a card base of Bermuda Bay cardstock and layered with Blushing Bride cardstock.  The next layer is a piece of Snail Mail Designer Series Paper that I first wrapped with a piece of twine from the Snail Mail Twine Combo Pack.   I stamped the snail image in Memento Tuxedo Black on Basic White cardstock and colored the image with Stampin' Blends.  I cut out the stamped image with the Snail Dies.

And I used the Snail Dies to cut out another snail image from the coordinating Snail Mail Designer Series Paper to decorate the front of my card.

Happy Thoughts Card Workshop by Mail

 Hello friends!

I am so excited to tell you about this month's workshop by mail!  

You will make 8 cards - 2 each of 4 designs!  

All the design work and a lot of the prep work is done for you!

You will receive a color pdf (sent by email) with photos and instructions for each of the projects.  In addition, I will send you at least $20 in product that you can use to keep on creating after making the class projects. (Inks and adhesives are not included).

This month's class uses the Happy Thoughts stamp set (optional), or you can use whatever you have in your stash.

Cost of the class is $35.00, which includes shipping to you by priority mail.  The stamp set is not included, but can be added on for $21.00.

Fine Art Floral Birthday

 Hello stampers!

From time to time Stampin' Up! releases a pack of patterned paper that is so beautiful whole in one piece that it is hard to cut it apart.  But, when you finally make that cut, it feels great to be able to share it in a card with others.  The Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper (#154558) fits that bill.  This paper is stunning!

And as if it's not already beautiful enough, I used a piece of the Golden Garden Designer Specialty Acetate as an overlay over the patterned paper.  The result is a stunning card!  I used a base panel of Poppy Parade and the greeting is stamped in Poppy Parade.  I used a piece of Fine Art 3/8" Ribbon behind the greeting.
