Happy Thoughts

 Oh my, I have a card for you today that is chock full of new products from the Spring Mini!  A patterned paper, a stamp set, and a coloring tool - all new!  Here's a look at my card.

I started with a piece of patterned paper from the True Love Designer Series Paper pack.  This is a black and white paper pack.  We all know the possibilities are endless when we start with black and white.  So, while this paper pack is presented in the catalog as part of the Love You Always Suite that features colors in pinks and beige, I went another direction.

I used the fabulous new Blending Brushes to add color to the flowers and leaves using Bumblebee and Just Jade ink.  You're going to love the Blending Brushes and the "soft" look of the color added with the brushes.

I added a black mat and a Bumblebee card base.  Finally, I stamped the greeting in Memento Tuxedo Black on Whisper White card stock.  The greeting is from a new stamp set, Happy Thoughts.  The sentiment only set will be a must have for many stampers!  I used the Label Me Fancy punch to cut out the greeting.

As you've probably heard by now, these new products will be available to purchase beginning January 5 - so that's now!  Finally!
