Tall & Skinny Valentine

 Hello friends!

Over the weekend I participated in another virtual workshop; I really enjoy the camaraderie of getting together with other demonstrators and stampers - even if it's only via Zoom for now.  Anyhow, we had a couple of "challenges" from the host to make cards according to certain specifications.  

One challenge was to make a card using this sketch from the Mojo Monday crew.  

The sketch is 3.5" x 5.5" and fits a regular envelope.  

And here is the card I created:

The colors are non traditional.  I used Night of Navy and Seaside Spray for my card.  The card base is Basic White followed by a layer of Night of Navy.  Next is a panel of designer series paper from the Paper Blooms pack.  I added a layer of Seaside Spray cardstock embossed with the Painted Texture 3D embossing panel.  I added the scalloped heart from the Many Hearts Dies and topped that with a Basic White heart stamped in Night of Navy using the Lots of Heart stamp set.  The heart on the side is stamped in Night of Navy on Seaside Spray card stock.  The sentiment is from the Heartfelt stamp set and is cut out with the smaller heart from the Heart Punch Pack.  Finally, I added a couple of Resin Hearts colored with the Seaside Spray Stampin' Blends.  I completed the card with a bow from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack.
