Merriest Moments

 Hello friends,

I used the Merriest Moments bundle (156783) for today's card.  This bundle includes the Merriest Moments stamp set and the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder.  The "hybrid embossing folder" includes dies and an embossing folder that work together to create an image that is embossed and die cut at the same time.

To create this card, I started with a piece of Basic White cardstock which was embossed and die cut with the Merriest Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder.  Next I used Mossy Meadow ink and a Blending Brush to add color to the image.  I then added Wink of Stella to the image to add sparkle.  A separate die from that set was used to die cut the label panel where I stamped "Joy" in Cherry Cobbler ink.  

My card base is Cherry Cobbler card stock.  I used the embossing folder alone to emboss the card front.  I added a strip of gold foil card stock before adding the embossed and die cut panel with Dimensionals.  To finish the card, I added a bow from the Cherry Cobbler & Gold 1/2" Ribbon.

Strong of Heart

Hello friends,

For the past several years, Stampin' Up! has designated a "Making A Difference" stamp set.  This year that stamp set is Strong of Heart and it's featured in the July-December Mini.  You can find it on page 5.  When you purchase this stamp set, $3.00 of every set sold is donated to support heart health.

I used that stamp set for today's card.

I used Basic White Thick Cardstock for the card base, followed by a silver foil panel.  The next layer is the Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper from Saleabration.  That paper pack has only black and white patterns, so I used a Blending Brush to color the paper Rich Razzleberry.  Note:  Today is the LAST DAY for Saleabration!!!  I wrapped a piece of 1-1/2" Metallic Mesh Ribbon around the silver foil and Rich Razzleberry layers and tied a bow on the side.  On a 3" x 3" Basic White square I stamped the heart in Rich Razzleberry and the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black.  The square is framed with more silver foil and attached to the card with Dimensionals.

In Your Words

 Hi everyone,

One of the "hidden gems" in the Stampin' Up! Saleabration catalog is the last stamp set shown in the catalog - In Your Words.  

A little background around this stamp set - almost a year ago Stampin' Up! sent an email to demonstrators asking if we could create our own greeting stamp, what would it be.  In Your Words is comprised of several of the responses received.  

I paired that stamp set along with the Expressions In Ink Designer Series Paper for today's cards.

I'm very happy with the way they came out.  The Expressions In Ink DSP really makes a card look special with the gold highlights.  Which one do you like best?  Leave me a comment to let me know.

Sweets & Treats

 Hi everyone,

Last week's Facebook Live didn't exactly go as planned (understatement), so I will be doing a "take 2" for that and will have it for you in a couple of days.  Meantime, take a look at these cuties created from the Sweets & Treats stamp set (#156561)!

This stamp set is full of our favorite fall treats along with adorable sentiments!  

For the pie card above, I used a piece of paper from the Harvest Meadow paper pack for my background paper.  I stamped the images on Basic White card stock and colored them with Stampin' Blends.  Using my Paper Snips to cut them out and layer them on top of a wreath from the Seasonal Swirls Dies.

The cupcake card is has a lot of Polished Pink making those yummy chocolate cupcakes really pop!
