Angels of Peace

 Hi everyone!

Before I officially begin my "Christmas break", I have one more holiday card for you.  I love the Angels of Peace stamp set in the fall mini so I used it for today's card.

To make my card, I stamped the angel in Basic Gray on Basic White card stock and colored her with Stampin' Blends.  When dry, I added Wink of Stella to the dress and wings.  I stamped the greeting from the For Unto Us stamp set also in Basic Gray on Basic White card stock and die cut it with the Seasonal Labels dies.  My card base is Basic Gray card stock, with a layer of Polished Pink card stock.  I added a layer of Smoky Slate card stock that was embossed with the Merry Melody 3D embossing folder.  I sponged some Basic Gray ink around the edges.

The supplies to recreate my project are shown below.  Clicking any one of the product pictures will take you directly to my online store.

And now I'm off for a little down time!  I'm going to enjoy the holidays with my family and hope you do the same!  I'll be back January 3, 2022!  Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!

Christmas Tags 2021

 Hi everyone,

I'm just about finished with all my pre-holiday tasks.  How about you?

This past Friday I made some Christmas Tags during my Facebook Live using a variety of Stampin' Up! products.  Some were cased, some were my own creations.

If you missed the Live, but would like to see how the tags were made, you can view the video here.

Little Delights

 Hi everyone!

The past couple of years, Stampin' Up! has hidden little gems toward the very back of the Fall Mini Catalog.  This year is no exception.  On page 59, you can find the stamp set, Little Delights.  This $16.00 stamp set includes a variety of sentiments and images suitable for a wide range of occasions.

I used this stamp set to create a set of thank you cards for one of my craft show buddies.  Here "lucky color" is purple, or in this case, Highland Heather.  Change the colors for a totally different look.

The supplies to recreate my project are shown below.

Snowbody Better

 Hello friends!

In some areas, it feels like winter has arrived.  It's not yet here in southwestern PA, but there's no doubt that it's not far off.  So with that in mind, I pulled out the super cute Snowbody Better stamp set for today's card.

I used a variety of Stampin' Blends to add color to the snowmen.  The greeting was stamped in Misty Moonlight.  The snow flakes are also Misty Moonlight that has been stamped off once.  I added the Stitched With Whimsy Die to add a nice border around the stamped image.  I added some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels (Jan-June 2022 Mini Sneak Peek) to complete the card.

Best Year Fun Folds

 Hello stampers!

Last week, during my Live, I made a couple of fun folds featuring the Best Year stamp set.  This sentiment only stamp set is a personal favorite because of the versatility of the greetings.

The cards are this sweet birthday card

and this equally as cute thank you card

If you missed the Live, you can catch the replay here.  All the measurements and instructions are included.

Reflected In Nature

 Hi there stampers!

The holiday season is typically jam-packed with activities and general busy-ness.  Sometimes it would be nice to take a moment, slow down, and breathe deep.  Today's card is my attempt at doing just that.

My card base is Thick Basic White with a layer of silver foil card stock.  The next layer is Misty Moonlight card stock that has been embossed with the Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder.  I stamped the image in Basic Gray on Basic White card stock and trimmed the card stock close to the edge of the stamped image.  The stamped image was added to the embossed panel with Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of Basic White card stock and die cut the sentiment with the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  The little bird was stamped in Misty Moonlight ink and fussy cut with Paper Snips.

Gifts Galore

 Hello friends,

Somehow, I realized late last evening that I never shared the November Paper Pumpkin kit with you.  So, without letting another day pass, let's take a look at this fantastic kit!

We knew before it arrived that it would have something to do with gift packaging.  And it sure does!  The kit makes 9 treat holders, 3 of each design shown below.

The front and back of each treat holder are the same.  In the middle is a little "basket" where the giver can place the food safe bag filled with treats.  I used Lindor Truffles in my bags.  The little baskets are big enough to hold a liquid soap from Bath & Body Works.  They're really adorable - I'm so glad I got an extra of this kit.

However, in case treat holders are not your thing, I made a couple alternatives.  The first is a cute snowman card.

The second alternative is a gift card holder.  I've included images of the front and back.

The front is the cute decorated tree image.  I added a Baker's Twine bow to the top of the tree and Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels to each of the red baubles on the tree.

The back side shows the traditional gift card holder I've made before.  You can see them here.  I added Dimensionals to the belly band to attach to the tree.

Subscriptions for the December kit are open through December 10.  What do we know about that kit?  Take a look.
