A Trio In Blushing Bride

 Hey there, everyone!

Did you have a good weekend?  I sure did.  We didn't do much but it was just what we needed.  Watch some sports on TV, do a little crafting, and a little cleaning.  All good stuff!

You may remember that last weekend I participated in a virtual convention along with several hundred other demonstrators.  The convention was full of stamping and training.  Today I want to share with you three of the "make n takes".  They all have their color scheme in common - Basic Black, Basic White, Gold, and Blushing Bride.

The Designer Series Paper used on all three cards is the Abstract Beauty Specialty DSP pack.

For this card, the black and white strip on the far right was created by stamping the trio of flowers from Hello Ladybug in Versamark on Basic Black card stock and embossing the stamped images with white embossing powder.  The Blushing Bride flowers are the same.  And the sentiment is from the On the Horizon stamp set.

The stamped images on the card are from Hello Ladybug.  The embossed greeting is from On the Horizon.

Finally, all images for this card are from Hello Ladybug.  Tip:  the Medium Daisy Punch coordinates perfectly with the daisy in the 

I love these cards because they do a great job of showing alternate uses for the stamp sets.  I hope you'll be inspired to take a look at your stamp sets to see what else you can create with them!

Flowing Flowers and Weekend Wrapup

 Hi everyone!

I spent this weekend, along with a few hundred other Stampin' Up! demonstrators, participating in a virtual convention.  We spent a lot of time training on relevant topics and even more time stamping using products from the January - June 2022 Mini Catalog.  It was just what I needed to recharge.  

Late last week I received my packet of materials from the organizers.  Included was supplies for all the make & takes.  We each also received a "pillow gift".  

Isn't it adorable?  Inside the Sweet Little Box (#157628) were some chocolates and a ladybug bookmark.  How fun!

We had a virtual swap where we made one card and shared it in the convention facebook page with the cards other participants made.  I shared mine on Facebook page yesterday.  If you missed it, here it is:

The patterned paper for my card is from the Symbols of Fortune pack (#157652),  and the greeting is from Dahlia Days (#157799).

In addition to the training, we did many make n takes as well.  The best part of the make n takes is that the projects are already created by someone else.  I just have to use the products provided, along with my stamps, inks, and adhesives, and put them together.   Here is just one that I made yesterday.

A set of beautiful notecards using the Flowing Flowers stamp set (#157880), three inks, 1/8" Ribbon Combo Pack (#158140), and a few Polished Dots (#158134).  Easy, pretty, and great for a gift or to keep and use myself!  

And that's just the beginning!  Over the next few weeks I'll be sharing more from this super fun, fulfilling event!

Light The Candles

 Hi everyone!

Friendly Hello

Hello stampers!

Saleabration is one of my favorite events from Stampin' Up!  For one thing, it lasts for 2 months.  And, we get free stuff - and who doesn't like free?  

I used a couple of Saleabration products for my card today.  

The little bird on the branch image is from the Friendly Hello stamp set.  And the background Designer Series Paper is Simply Marbelous 6" x 6" Paper Pack.  The greeting is from Through It Together.

I colored the images using Stampin' Blends and finished off the card with some Brushed Brass Butterflies and White Glittered Organdy Ribbon.
