 Hello Stampers!

Father's Day is celebrated in the US on the third Sunday in June.  As I write this, that was today.  Our family spent the day together and had a wonderful dinner.  And it was a warm, sunny day to boot.  Perfect in every way!

I used the awesome Vintage Tools stamp set to make this Father's Day card for my DH.  Have a look.  He loved it!

Cottage Rose (and a couple of sneak peeks!)

I reached for the Cottage Rose bundle over the weekend to have a play.  This bundle, actually, the whole suite is so pretty!  So, I have a couple of cards to share with you.  One of them has two sneak peeks - one from the  new Saleabration brochure and one from the new July-Dec Mini Catalog.  Can you pick them out?  

If you picked the card on the left as the card with the "sneak peeks", you are correct!  For the card on the left, I stamped the floral image in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with Stampin' Blends.  I die cut the image and adhered it with Dimensionals to a card (with matching envelope) from Saleabration!  I stamped the sentiment on a square scrap of Basic White card stock.  I then punched all four corners with the new Very Best Trio Punch from the July-December Mini Catalog!  I attached the sentiment to a piece of Natural Finish Ribbon and finished the card by sprinkling Iridescent Pearls on the card front.  

For the card on the right, I cut a piece of the Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper and adhered it to a Basic Black mat and a Crumb Cake card base.  I added 3 strips of Basic Black card stock along the left side of the card and fussy cut another flower to adhere to the Basic Black card stock.  I heat embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder and punch the ends of the strip with the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch.  Finally I completed the card by adding Brushed Metallic Dots on either side of the sentiment.

He's The Man

 Hello stampers!

Father's Day, graduations, birthdays, congratulations, encouragement...those are a few of the occasions we like to commemorate with a card.  But, for so many, the thought of making a card for a guy is enough to send us into a tizzy-or procrastination.  Not any more!  Stampin' Up! introduced a product suite in the Annual Catalog that covers all your card making needs for the guys in our lives!  And that designer series paper - not only is is beautiful paper, there are 2 pages of die cuts that can be used to make cards that require no stamping at all!  Take a look:

All six of the cards above are made with elements from the Designer Series Paper pack.  The card with the car has a die cut frame from the Fabulous Frames dies.  All others have Linen thread and Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots added as embellishments.  There is a closer look at all 6 cards below:

It's My Birthday - and Sweetest Cherries

 Hello stampers!

It's my birthday month - and I want to share the fun with you - all month long!

My newest workshop by mail is now available!  The workshop is Sweetest Cherries.  Here's a picture of the projects:

This workshop, like all others, includes supplies and tutorials for 2 of each of the cards.  Per Stampin' Up! guidelines, stamps, inks, and adhesives are not included.  I'm offering this workshop FREE for my birthday with your minimum $50.00 order!  Workshops are typically priced at $39.00, but when you place an order with Stampin' Up!
