Thankful for You

Greetings stampers!

I am thrilled beyond words to finally post a card using my favorite stamp set from the new Holiday catalog.  What set would that be?  Why, Painted Harvest (#144783), of course!  This set is still my favorite, BUT, when you get it in your order, grab some patience and some scrap paper and practice with it.  When I first started stamping with this set, I was so upset with the images.  They were not what I was expecting.  And I kept seeing all these beautiful cards created by others.  I wanted to cry.  But, I kept at it.  And finally, I've created cards I'm happy to share!  My number one tip for this set (besides practice), is to be sure your centers are aligned.  

And now, here is my card!

The colors I used for my flower are Crushed Curry and Peekaboo Peach.  The center is Soft Suede.  The leaves are Old Olive and Always Artichoke.  The greeting is punched with the Pretty Label Punch.
