The "Old" and the New

Hello stampers!

 For the past few years, when it hits this time in the Stampin' Up! year, I get a little sad.  There are so many wonderful products from the Holiday catalog that are retiring-and with Christmas just a week away, the opportunity to use those remaining is becoming rare.  Not that I'm not really looking forward to the new products coming out on January 4....  Is it me?  Do you feel the same?

Anyhow, for today's card, I decided to use a retiring set - and a new set!  The retiring set is the set that surprised me the most that it's not being carried over - Totally Trees.  And the new set is All Things Thanks.

Hello stampers!

 It was a busy weekend around here!  On Sunday morning, we woke up to 50 degrees....fall is definitely moving in.  So, we broke down and closed the pool for the year.  My least favorite task every year.

But with the arrival of fall weather, thoughts start to turn toward the holidays.  Now is a great time to get a head start on your cards.  And what better way to do so than to take advantage of my Christmas Pines special!!!

The details - contact me to place your order of the Christmas Pines bundle by October 5.  I will send you a PayPal invoice for your total order including your local tax and shipping +$6.80 for shipping your card supplies and instructions.  On October 7, I will place an order for all the bundles that have been paid.  Your bundle will ship directly to you from Stampin' Up!  I will ship the card supplies to you separately.

Note:  One of the sample cards uses the Pine Bough TIEF.  You don't have to buy that embossing folder, the card will work without it.  However, if you add it to your order, I will add a package of white envelopes at no charge in your box from me.

 For today's card, I pulled out "Totally Trees" and paired it with Thankful Thoughts for a quick and easy thank you card - or even a Thanksgiving card.  This card is easily adapted for other seasons by changing the tree color and the ribbon.

Autumn Trees

Hello Stampers,

 And just like that, it's the end of the week!  I have a great card to share with you from my very talented sister.  But, before I get to that, Stampin' Up! announced the second week of Special Offers on Thursday.  This batch of special deals has some must have items!
