Tree Angle Swap Card

 As part of the virtual event I attended a couple of weeks ago, we had a small card swap.   I used the fantastic Tree Angle stamp set and coordinating Stitched Triangle Dies for my card.

To create my card I started with a base of Thick Whisper White card stock and added a layer of Cherry Cobbler card stock.  The next layer is a piece of Vellum and I embossed the top half of the panel with dotted image from the Wrapped In Texture Embossing Folders.  Next, using the Stitched Triangle Dies, I cut out three trees from the 'Tis the Season 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Pack.  (You're going to see a lot of this paper because I really like it!)  The trees were attached with Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment with Versa Mark and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  The sentiments were cut out with the Stitched Rectangle Dies and also attached with Dimensionals.  Finally, a couple of Gold Glitter Enamel Dots were added on either side of the sentiment.

Christmas Gleaming

 A couple of weeks ago I participated in a virtual 2020 Holiday Showcase.  The event was filled with presentations from other successful demonstrators as well as several make & takes.  It was a super fun event and I wanted to share some of the projects we made.  Today I'm sharing the Christmas Gleaming card.  It has a lot of texture and several layers.  And it has no stamping!

My card base is Very Vanilla card stock.  The next layer is Night of Navy card stock that has been embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.   A smaller piece of Very Vanilla card stock was embossed with the Absolutely Argyle 3D Embossing Folder and framed with a piece of Copper Foil card stock.   The boughs and pine cones were cut from the Beautiful Boughs Dies.  The ornament cut from the Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack.  And "Peace" is but from the Joy Dies.

Christmas Means More

 Yesterday I was working on the card for today's post and couldn't decide on which paper combination I liked more.  So, I posted a photo of both paper combinations on my Facebook page yesterday evening.  Thankfully many of my loyal followers and friends were happy to offer their opinion!  So, here's my card with the prevailing paper combo!

My card base is Mossy Meadow card stock.  A piece of Whisper White card stock frames a piece of plaid paper from the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper collection.  An additional piece of Whisper White card stock frames another piece of patterned paper from the 'Tis The Season 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Collection.  The sentiment is stamped in Real Red ink on a piece of Whisper White card stock and cut out with the Stitched Shape Dies.  I wanted to do more with the holly images that are part of that sentiment stamp.  So, I used the separate holly image from that stamp set and stamped the holly image twice on a scrap of Mossy Meadow card stock.  I cut out the leaves with my Paper Snips and add adhered them over the stamped images.  Some Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels as holly berries complete the card.

Magic In this Night Halloween

 Before I dive into today's post, I want to thank all of you that took time to let me know how much you like my Gather Together card from last week.  I'm grateful that so many of you liked it.  If you missed that post, and would like to see it, click here.  

Today's card uses products from the Magic In This Night product suite.  I was on the fence about this one - it's definitely not traditional Halloween, but I'm glad I got it.  Never have spiders and bats looked so "elegant".

The base for my card is a piece of Blackberry Bliss card stock.  I stamped the large spiders in Blackberry Bliss ink all over a piece of Whisper White card stock.  The next layer is a complimentary piece of paper from the Magic In This Night Designer Series Paper pack with more Blackberry Bliss spiders on a Blackberry Bliss Background.  I tied a bow using the 1-1/2" Metallic Mesh Ribbon around this layer and topped off my card with an image and sentiment stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink on a piece of Whisper White card stock and cut out with the smaller label die from the Halloween Magic Dies.  Finally, some Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added randomly across the front of the card.
