Hooray!


Hello Stampers!

 I've recently been making an effort to use products that I don't use much.  Are you like me?  Do you have a pile of stuff, too, that you don't use much?  Pull some of those products out and put them to work!  Today's card is a result of that effort.

MDS is being phased out:  Stampin' Up! will no longer offer MDS or it's professional print products.  Downloads, support, and print services will be available only until May 31, 2015.  If you have purchased MDS downloads, please download them now as they will not be available after May 31.  If you have any questions, please let me know.

Back ordered items:  Have you heard about the west coast dock workers labor issues?  Even though an agreement has been reached, the back log of shipments to be delivered is considerable.  This issue has impacted Stampin' Up! as well.  For the time being, products that are out of stock and are shipped from over seas are not orderable.

In Color Work of Art

Greetings friends!

 The wonderful St Louis weather continues.  Cool, sunny days and even cooler nights!  It truly feels more like October than July!  Work was good today.  Too many meetings, as usual, but a lot of good productive work as well!

 In preparation for sharing the swaps currently on their way to me, I'll start with sharing the swaps I sent out.  The first card(s) is for an In Color Swap.  So, the card design is the same, but I made several in each of the new In Colors.

 The card starts with a Whisper White Base that is embossed with the new Zig Zag TIEF,  A piece of In Color cardstock tops the embossed panel.  A Whisper White panel is stamped with a stamp from the Work of Art set, stamped three times after inking the stamp only once.  The greeting, from A Happy Hooray is stamped from the same color.

Shades of Baked Brown Sugar and Crumb Cake

Happy Thursday!

 Are you having a good week?  Yesterday was my first day back to work ... and it was a busy one! But it was good, not many meetings so I was able to get mostly caught up.

 Today's card is a lot of brown - and I have to say, it is much prettier in person than it photographs.  I started with a base of Crumb Cake and topped it with a piece of Baked Brown Sugar embossed with the Arrows TIEF.  The  arrows and greeting are from the A Happy Hooray set and are stamped in Baked Brown Sugar on Crumb Cake cardstock.  The arrows and greeting are popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals over Gold Sequin Trim.

Thanks!

Whew, it was a busy day at work yesterday.  From the minute I walked in the door yesterday morning till the time I left it was non-stop.  Here's hoping today is a little more sane!
