Snowflakes

Greeting stampers!

I hope you had a nice weekend!  The weather was gorgeous here.  70 on Saturday and 65 on Sunday.  DH got the Christmas lights up on the outside of the house.  They're not on yet, but next weekend here they are calling for "the S word", so better to be on the ladder on warm, sunny, dry days than cold and potentially icy days.  Right?

Anyhow, preparations for the Christmas holidays are really starting to kick into high gear.  Today's card is one that I will be including in a couple of my card orders.  I am very happy with the way it turned out!

Thankful

Hi all!

How was your weekend?  We had a good one.  DH and I celebrated our anniversary on Saturday.  I also spent a lot of time getting ready for the craft fair on October 24.

I took a break from the craft fair preparations to make a card for this week's challenge from Jaydee over at The Paper Players.  She's given us a color challenge this week.



When I first looked at these colors, they screamed Christmas to me.  But I wanted to do something a little different.  Have you used the Lighthearted Leaves (#139712) set yet?  I think it's my favorite set from the Holiday Mini.  I used the awesome maple leaf from that set for my card.
