Sentimental Swirls

Hi everyone!

Awesome Otters Birthday

Hello friends!

I went back to the adorable Awesome Otters for today's cute birthday card.

The background was created by stamping the large water image from the Oceanfront stamp set in Misty Moonlight and then turning the stamp upside down and stamping again directly under the first image. Next, I used a Blender Pen and went over the stamped water images lightly to blend the stamped image creating a watercolor effect. Next I stamped the grass images in Old Olive ink along the shoreline. Using the Awesome Otters stamp set, I stamped the sentiment and otter in Memento Tuxedo Black on the card front. On a scrap piece of card stock I stamped the otter again and colored him with Stampin' Blends. Using Paper Snips, I cut out the second otter and adhered him with Dimensionals on top of the first one.

Heart & Home Thank You

Hello stampers!

I have a thank you card for you today that uses several of my "favorites". A favorite piece of designer series paper, a favorite soon to be retired InColor, and a favorite stamp set. That's a lot of favorites in one card! So take a look.

My card starts with a base of Cinnamon Cider. I embossed the card front with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. I also used a large piece of Heart & Home Designer Series Paper on the card front, framed with a piece of Basic Gray and Pale Papaya card stock. I also die cut a flower from the Flowers of Home dies. The sentiment, from Flowing Flowers, is stamped in Basic Gray and punched out using the Everyday Label punch. Finally, I sprinkled some 2021-2023 In Color Jewels on the card front.

Nuts & Bolts

Hi everyone!

Happy Super Bowl and happy Valentine's Day! We'll be watching the big game Sunday evening - will you? Meantime, I have one more batch of Valentines to share with you.

I love, love, love the images in the Nuts & Bolts stamp set (#157650)! The little guys are adorable and make perfect Valentines! The background for my cards are from a retired Paper Pumpkin add-on from a couple of years ago. I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White card stock. I colored them with Stampin' Blends. Then I fussy cut the images with my Paper Snips and adhered them to the card fronts.

Catching Butterflies

Hi everyone!

Catching Butterflies is one of the most "fun" stamp sets in the Saleabration Catalog. I love the whimsical artwork in this set. It is well suited to all coloring mediums. I used Stampin' Blends for my card.

To make my card, I started with a Basic White panel die cut with the Stitched So Sweetly dies. I used a Blending Brush to create a background of Pool Party ink. The image was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with a variety of Stampin' Blends. The background designer series paper is cut on a diagonal and adhered to a Poppy Parade background. The sentiment was heat embossed in white on a Granny Apple Green card stock and die cut with the larger circle die from the Tasteful Labels dies.
