Lovely Little Wreath

Hello stampers!

Another crazy busy weekend comes to an end.  We got a lot of packing done and emptied our storage place.  The garage is now filled with boxes, tools, and other household things ready for the big move in 5 short weeks.  Moving day will be here before we know it!

I managed to find a little time for stamping as well.  The April Paper Pumpkin kit has been staring at me for the past 10 days or so.  I finally took the time to put my kit together.  I changed my project up a little from the directions.  But, in addition to showing my project, I'm sharing the project from Stampin' Up as well.

Here is my project:

I changed up the flowers, the greeting, and the ribbon for my wreath.  For the greeting, I used the title stamp from the Choose Happiness set (#134198) that is soon to be retiring.

My bow is made from the Watermelon Wonder 1" Stitched Satin Ribbon (#140580), also retiring.

I also changed up the flowers and added a black center, which is simply a Pearl Basic Jewel (#119247) colored with a black sharpie.

I also added a touch of clear (#141897) and gold (#141898) Wink of Stella to each of the leave.

This was a really fun kit and I enjoyed putting it together!
