First off, all the specials that I posted about yesterday are now captured on the side of this page. Beneath the catalog images, there is a link to August 2018 Special Offers. Click that to see all the specials in one place.
Earlier this week I posted a short video clip to my Stamp With Melanie Facebook page. It really intrigued me, so I decided to give it a try. My results aren't the same, but I'm pleased nonetheless with the way the card turned out.
As in the video, I colored the leaves with the Granny Apple Green from the Watercolor Pencils Assortment 2. After coloring with the second color, I used the Aqua Painter to blend. Then added a second layer of color. After the second layer, I used the Blender Pen to create the finished look.
The accent ribbon toward the bottom of the image panel was created with a Stampin' Blends Marker. I originally saw this tip posted by Patty Bennett, although I'm pretty sure she got it from another demo. Anyhow, it's super simple and so effective. I've captured it in a couple photos for you.
Start with a piece of 3/8" Metallic Edge Ribbon in either Whisper White or Very Vanilla.
Add color with a couple strokes of your Stampin' Blends.
Tips:
1. Protect your work surface. The ribbon is porous and the alcohol ink will bleed through.
2. I let it dry for a couple of minutes before adding to my card. Because it's alcohol ink, it dries very quickly.

Are you placing an online order, and your order is under $150.00? Please use the Hostess Code at the top right of the page. (If your order is over $150.00, don't use this code as doing so will forfeit your hostess benefits!).

Thanks for stopping by today!
Happy Stampin',
