Even though it feels like we're still in the middle of winter with today's snow flurries and cold temperatures, it's time to turn the page on the calendar and really start thinking about the spring and summer celebrations. They will be here before we know! Today's card is a very easy card, which I think will be perfect as a graduation card.
This stamp set, All The Good Things, has 2 stamps that have the sentiment and the image together in one stamp. I cut them apart for this card so I could use them on a smaller piece of card stock. Cutting the stamp does no damage as long as you are careful! The background is a piece of Mango Melody card stock embossed with the Dot to Dot embossing folder. The main panel was cut out using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies. The supply list to create this card is shown below.

One of the things that Stampin' Up! does best is to provide us with products that work so well together and allow us to create stunning projects. That was the thought that ran through my mind when I made this card. See if you agree.
To make this card, I added a panel from the Beautifully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper to a panel of Whisper White card stock. I stamped the image from the Just Because host set from the Occasions Catalog in Tuxedo Black. The image is colored with Stampin Blends in Petal Pink and Call Me Clover. Finally, I added a bow from the Petal Pink/Whisper White 5/8" Variegated Ribbon.
To recreate this project, the supply list is shown below.

Earlier this week I shared a card where I added ink to the Country Floral Embossing Folder prior to running the embossing folder and card stock through the Big Shot. I'm using that same technique for today's card, but the embossing folder is the Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I added Balmy Blue to the embossing folder before adding card stock and running it through the Big Shot. The effect is beautiful!
The sentiment is from Abstract Impressions and the background on the sentiment label is from Artisan Textures. I punched out the sentiment using the Story Label Punch. Finally, I used the technique tip I shared yesterday on my Facebook page to create the Balmy Blue ribbon, using the Balmy Blue Light Stampin' Blends Marker. This card goes together quickly. The product list to create it is shown below.

Are you as obsessed with organization for your craft items as me? It seems to be a never ending battle. We've been asking for it for a long time - and as of April 1, it's here. What is it? It's a new storage system from Stampin' Up!, Storage By Stampin' Up! Here's a look at what is included in the initial product offering.
Part of the beauty of this system is that it can be configured to meet your needs.
We stacked up to 50 Can I mount my Storage by Stampin’ Up! products on the wall? No. Our modular storage products are designed to sit on a table (or similar flat surface).orage trays without any issues, BUT we would not recommend stacking that high. While our Storage by Stampin’ Up! products are sturdy, the higher you stack them, the less stable they’ll become. Use your discretion when stacking.
Yes! Our Storage by Stampin’ Up! products are modular and designed with customization in mind. Take a look at the flyer for more information on the size and dimensions of each item in our new modular storage product line.
No. The Storage Lid covers the top of Ink Pad & Marker Storage Trays, Stampin’ Blends Storage Trays, and Open Storage Cubes, so you need only one per storage configuration.
Will there be expansions to the Storage by Stampin’ Up! product line in the future?
Like all of our product offerings, we hope Storage by Stampin’ Up! will be successful and expand. However, at this point in time, we can’t guarantee any additional modular storage products in the future.
Are there any Storage by Stampin’ Up! bundles available?
We are not currently offering any bundles for items from our Storage by Stampin’ Up! product line.
No. When you insert an ink pad into a storage tray, a small portion of the ink pad will stick out. We designed it this way, so your ink pads will be both secure and easy to access.
***** So, now you know you have to have the Storage by Stampin' Up! for yourself. But you want it for a deal (who doesn't?). I know how you can earn a 20% discount on all your Stampin' Up! products. Sign up to become a Stampin' Up! demonstrator! And if you sign up by March 31, you can get in on the Sale-a-bration new demonstrator bonus. Savings, savings, and more savings! I would love to discuss the options with you in more detail and welcome you to my growing team. Reach out to me today to get the conversation started! Happy Stampin', Melanie
I love to use my stamping tools in as many different ways as possible. Today, I'm sharing an alternative way to use a textured impressions embossing folder. The Country Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder is particularly well suited for this use. (And through March 31, this is a free level 1 Sale-a-bration item!) Here is my card.
Prior to embossing the card stock, I added ink to the embossing folder. In this case, I used my Pineapple Punch stamp pad and pressed it ink side down all over the side of the embossing folder that creates the raised images. After the embossing folder is covered with ink, position the card stock on the uninked side of the embossing folder. Carefully close embossing folder and run through the Big Shot. The effect is beautiful! The raised portions of the card stock are mostly white and the flat portions of the card stock are colored with Pineapple Punch. It adds beautiful dimension! To complete the card, I stamped the sentiment in Pineapple Punch Wonderful Floral Framelits Dies to frame the sentiment. I used Dimensionals to attach the sentiment to the card. The project list to recreate my card is shown below:

I must have had a need to "de-stress" the past couple of weeks, because I made a couple of cards that were watercolored. I find that to be so relaxing! I'm not very good at it, but I'm usually happy enough with my results to share. Today's card is no exception.
I stamped the hibiscus flower image in Staz On on Shimmery White card stock. Then I used Berry Burst, Mango Melody, Old Olive, and Lemon Lime Twist to color the flower image with Aqua Painters. Then I went over the flower with Wink of Stella to add more sparkle. I didn't buy the dies for this set, so I cut out the flower using snips.
The flower was attached with Dimensionals to another panel of Shimmery White card stock cut out with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies and colored with a watercolor wash of Pool Party. The sentiment is stamped in Staz On. The background panel and accent strip are from the Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper pack. The supply list to recreate my card is shown below:
