Friend Like You Cards

Recently I pulled out several new products that I used to make today's cards.

First, I used the new watercolor paper. (#149612)  Initial thoughts?  I really like the texture and the weight of the paper.  The individual sheets are now 5 x 7, so I made note cards so I could get 2 backgrounds out of one sheet.

Second, I used the new Pigment Sprinkles. (#149663)  Initial thoughts?  Wow, the colors are so vibrant, plus they match Stampin' Up! colors.  They are bright and beautiful!

Third, I used the new Friend Like You stamp set.  (#149237)  I love, love, love the font and the sentiments in this stamp set.

So, here are my cards:

For my backgrounds, I spritzed the watercolor paper with water and then sprinkled on the pigments.  I used the Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green, and Mango Melody sprinkles.  To speed the drying time, I used the Heat Tool. 

Next time, I'm going to go for a softer look.  I'll be sure to share the results with you.
