Tropical Chic Card

Tropical Chic is a fantastic stamp set that carried over from last year's annual catalog.  I don't think I've used it enough in the past, so I pulled it out to create today's card.  I tried to give it a "shabby chic" feel, but personally, I think I need to work on that a little more.  😃

Anyhow, here's my card.

My card base is Crumb Cake card stock.  The image base is a piece of Pretty Peacock card stock that I frayed and curled with the blade of my Paper Snips.  The next layer is a piece of Daffodil Delight card stock.  I stamped the image across the bottom of the panel and them embossed it with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.  Using the Tropical Dies, I cut out the palm leaves flowers.  The sentiment is stamped in Pretty Peacock ink on a piece of Whisper White card stock and cut out with Stitched Nested Labels.  A tiny piece of Pretty Peacock Scalloped Linen Ribbon was added to the label.
