Sometimes I like to step out of my comfort zone and use a stamp set or technique that I normally wouldn't use. And the fact that the Power of Hope stamp set and Stone 3D embossing folder are free sale-a-bration items helped out enormously! I love the sentiments in the stamp set, so I decided to give it a try. What do you think?
The background was created by using the Stone 3D embossing folder with a piece of Gray Granite card stock. I stamped the girl twice - once on a scrap of whisper white card stock and another on a scrap of Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper. Using my Paper Snips, I cut out the girls hair and head and pieced it over the Bird Ballad image. Then I colored the face and hair using Stampin' Blends. The image panel is also stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Stampin' Blends. I used the Stitched Rectangles to cut out the panel. I used Dimensionals to adhere the girl to my card and added a bow of Petal Pink 1/4" Metallic-Edge Ribbon.
