Postcard Pals

One of the most adorable sets in the annual catalog is Postcard Pals.  I've had this set sitting on my desk, waiting patiently to be inked up and colored.  Finally they are done and I love how they turned out!  (Plus I got to use many of the new Blends colors on these cards -- bonus!)

Neutrals 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper

One of the items I was happiest to see in the new Annual Catalog is the return of the color family Designer Series Paper packs.  And with this year's color refresh, it made perfect sense to include the color family Designer Series Paper (DSP) packs.  I've used the Neutrals 6 x 6 DSP (#146967) to create these quick and easy 3 x 3 cards.

Here's a closer look at each of the cards.

The greeting for the Crumb Cake and Merry Merlot cards are from the Darling Label Punch Box (#146855) and the greeting for the Night of Navy Card is from Detailed with Love (#146606).

The backing panel for each card is embossed with the Subtle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder  (#143706).

Pamper Yourself

Over the weekend I shared this picture on my Facebook page, Stamp With Melanie.

I was recently asked to make 25 3x3 cards to be included in gift box type packaging that will be offered for sale at a local shop.

I used the new stamp set, Bubbles & Bubbly to create my cards.  Some parts of the cards were watercolored with an Aqua Painter, others were colored with Stampin' Blends.  (The "For You" greeting is from a retired set.) Here are the finished cards:

Springtime Foils 3 x 3

I hope Stampin' Up! has a foil print designer series paper in the new annual catalog.  I can't get enough of the versatility of the current Springtime Foils, available as a Sale-a-bration item only until March 31.

Today I'm sharing 3 little 3x3 cards I dropping off tomorrow at the little store in town that carries my cards. 

The colored background gives each card a very unique look.

The ribbon on this card was colored with a Stampin' Blends marker.
