Yippee!!!

Yippee for a couple of reasons....first, this work week is almost over, and second, because SU released this super, super cute new digital set this week called Endless Birthday Wishes Kit.  The phrases and fonts remind me of the photopolymer Endless Wishes set that sold out so quickly late last year.  Today's card is from the Endless Birthday Wishes Kit.

One correction from yesterday's post....the stamped text image is from the Yippee Skippee set (#131344), not Perfect Pennants.  Thanks to my very creative sister for pointing out the error.

Anyhow, back to today's card.  It's a hybrid card using the new Endless Birthday Wishes Kit mounted on cardstock, with some ribbon and a cardstock tag added.  I hope you enjoy - and if you haven't used MDS lately, why not give it a try again?

Hybrid New Year's wishes

Happy 2014!  Have you made any resolutions for the new year?  I have a couple; we'll see how they turn out!  Today's card is another new year's card.  The main panel image was created using MDS and then printed on whisper white cardstock.  I love how easy it is to color the image using MDS.

Happy Birthday, John!

My nephew's birthday was Friday.  He loves to hunt and bike.  Here is the card I created for him, with the help of MDS.  The bike is from MDS and printed on Whisper White cardstock.  Everything else was stamped on the cardstock after the bike was printed.

Happy Birthday, One Year Old! ... and The Most Wonderful Time of the Year from MDS!

My son came home Friday evening and asked me to make a birthday card for a one year old, whose birthday party was in 90 minutes!   A little panic set in as I really don't have stamps or papers for cards for really young kids.  So what to do?  I finally decided the balloon image from the Sketched Birthday set would work, but what to do for paper?  MDS to the rescue!  I purchased the download for the Birthday Basics paper and instantly had DSP that would work with my stamped image!  Phew, crisis averted!  Now to get to work on that card....   Here is the finished product.  I hope you enjoy it and see just another advantage of having the MDS!

A Worldly Hybrid!

Today's card is an example of my very favorite thing about MDS....it "stamps" those big stamps for me and I don't end up with a blotchy half inked image when I'm done!  Not only that, but I can re-size the image to the size needed for my project.  I'm a novice MDS user, and I know there are a lot of cool features I have yet to discover, but I don't know if anything will beat the clean clear image of the big stamps!
