Boy was it ever hot here yesterday! The hottest day of the summer! And just like the coldest day of the winter, it really was good to be outside - unless you were in the pool! LOL! I had the privilege of helping to judge a canned food building contest at 3:00 in the afternoon....all from the comfort of our open air parking garage! I felt sorry for those who spent an hour down there building their creations!
Back to the subject at hand....today's card! As I mentioned last week, I am trying to get more involved in some of the "challenges" out there. Today's card will be submitted for this week's SUO Challenge 101, Bows, Bows, Bows. Click here to check them out. The challenge this week is to use a bow (or bows) in your card. I'm not a big bow person, but I thought it worked well with this card. And seriously, I have no idea how I missed this stamp my first 35 times through the catalog!
The card has a piece of Whisper White card stock on top of Basic Black and Daffodil Delight cardstock. The image is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with a variety of Blendabilities markers. The greeting is from the Hostess set Hello There and the bow uses the new 1/4" Cotton Ribbon.
