Hi everyone!
What a difference a day makes! It was hot and humid here all weekend and most of yesterday. Then a cold front came rushing in and dropped the temperatures by 20 degrees in 5 minutes! Now that's a cold front! The humidity dropped and so did the temps, it was actually a chilly this morning!
For quite some time, I've been wanting to get more involved in some of the card challenges. You know, just to try something different from time to time. My 'problem' is that I usually make up all my cards over the weekend and I forget about the challenges by then. Well, not today! I didn't have my card ready and when I saw the Mojo Monday challenge, I immediately knew exactly what I would do! Here is the sketch for this week's challenge:
The card has a Whisper White base with a piece of Basic Gray layered on top. Add to that a piece of Hello Honey cardstock and a piece of DSP from the Moonlight DSP stack. My image is from the new photopolymer set, Dear Heart. The greeting is stamped on a piece of Lost Lagoon cardstock and finally, the card it topped with the 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon, Hello Honey. The frame and hair are colored with future Blendabilites. The cap is colored with the 2014-16 In Color Stampin' Write Markers.
