It's the time of the year I fondly call "birthday season". For the next several months, many family members and friends celebrate birthdays. So, I happily make a lot of birthday cards this time of year. This card is one I made for a good friend's birthday a couple of weeks ago. Have you seen the Bird Banter set on page 42 of the Occasions catalog? I really like the light-hearted images and verses in this set. I double stamped the bird and his party hat. I cut them out with snips and adhered to the base with mini dimensionals to give him a little pop.
I used my Stampin' Blends to color the images and added a strip of glimmer paper from the Myths and Magic 6 x 6 Glimmer Paper from page 57 of the Occasions catalog. The background paper is from the Bubbles and Fizz Designer Series Paper, a free Level 1 Sale-a-bration item!
