Tips and Tricks For The New Stamp Pads and Cases

As you know, Stampin' Up! has redesigned the stamp pad case and the ink itself along with the color revamp coming on June 1.  Today we're going to take a closer look at the stamp pad case itself.

As with most new products, there is a learning curve.  I've been using the new stamp pads and cases for a little over a month now, and I really like them!

First, the new stamp pad case is slightly smaller than the current case.

They are also a little shorter!

The new stamp pad case comes with 5 peal and stick labels on the back.  One each in English, French, German, and Japanese.  There is an additional label that is blank.

Stampin' Up!'s case design called for the extra blank label to located in the little tray by the finger notch.  This has caused problems for those of us with fat fingers and stiff joints. So, I added my blank label to the white space next to the top of the case.  That way, whether the case is open or closed, I can see the color I am working with.  And no worries about those fingers getting in the way!

When opening your new case the first few times, it may seem stiff and hard to move.  To me, that's ok, I know my pad has been sealed!  After it is opened and closed a few times, it will begin to loosen up.

When you order a stamp pad after June 1, you will automatically receive the new stamp pad case.  When you get one, if you have any problems with it, please let me know!
