One For All Birthday

One of my favorite things about the Occasions Catalog is all the beautiful designer series paper available.  The papers in the Happiness Blooms pack are so vibrant.  And they scream beautiful sunny warm weather.  So, in light of the brutal winter weather we've had lately, it seemed natural to reach for this paper to send a birthday card to a good friend.

The stamped image is from One For All.  I punched the accent flowers from the Bitty Blooms Punch Pack and the flower centers are from the Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots.

Meant To Be Valentine

Last week I shared a card with a die cut butterfly created from a panel made with Brusho.  At the same time I created the "blue panel", I made a "red panel" using Shimmer paper.  And I used framelits to cut out several images.  Take a look.

And here's a Valentine I made using some of those images.

The solid hearts are the inserts from the cut-out hearts.  I used a piece of Designer Series Paper from Petal Promenade for the background.  I love how well the Stampin' Up! products all work so well together!

Over the weekend, I went to my craft room to clean off my desk.  I want to start doing some videos, but seriously, until that desk top is cleaner, it's not gonna happen!

Anyhow, this is what happened instead of cleaning!

The designer series paper and the foil paper are from the Sale-a-bration catalog!  The word "friend" and the flower swirl were cut out using the Well Written framelits.  The butterflies are punched out of another piece of paper from the sale-a-bration designer series paper pack, Botanical Butterfly.  The Butterfly Duet punch coordinates perfectly with this paper.  (Note:  the punch is currently out of stock but will carry over to the new annual catalog).

Make a Difference

I created today's card to participate in this week's Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.  I've been tossing ideas for this set around for a while, and when I saw the sketch, I thought it would be a good fit!

Here's a look at the sketch for the challenge:

And here's a look at my card.  I used the Artfully Aware stamp set paired with the Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to create my card.  Artfully Aware is the "million dollar stamp set" of fellow demonstrator, Janet Wakeland.  (When a demonstrator achieves $1,000,000.00 in career sales, they get to help design a stamp set).  When Janet presented this set at OnStage back in November, I don't think there was a dry eye in the house - me included.  And for that reason, it was near the top of my list of must have sets from the Occasions Catalog. 

I framed the stamped panel with piece of Gray Granite card stock.  Both are attached with Dimensionals to a piece of Petal Pink card stock embossed to the the gorgeous Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. 

The card base is Gray Granite card stock and the design panel has been framed with Whisper White card stock.  I added a piece of Petal Pink/Whisper White Variegated Ribbon to complete the card.  Glue Dots hold the ends of the ribbon in place.
