Have you seen the Braided Border Punch in the spring mini catalog? I decided to pull it out, along with the Beautifully Braided stamp set and sett what I could come up with.
For this birthday card, I colored the leaves with Granny Apple Green and Daffodil Delight. The image is stamped in Pretty Peacock, as is the pattern on the braided piece. I stamped the accents next to the braided piece and the sentiment in Granny Apple Green and added a piece of 3/8" Reversible Ribbon with the Old Olive side up behind the braided piece. Finally I cut out the sentiment with the Label Me Lovely punch and added Dimensionals before adhering to the card fromt.
This thank you card was created in neutrals - Basic Black, Whisper White, and Crumb Cake. The splatter accent is from Artisan Textures. The sentiment is stamped on Whisper White card stock and cut out with the smallest rectangle die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. To create the background for the sentiment, I stamped the leaf image in Crumb Cake ink on a piece of Crumb Cake card stock and cut it out with the second smallest non-rectangular die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.
