I am intrigued by Stampin' Up! bundles that have detailed dies. They suck me in time and time again. When I ordered the Birthday Jubilee bundle, it was because of the dies. But, once I got it, it sat on my desk while I figured out what I wanted to do with it. Does that ever happen to you? Anyhow, I came up with a couple of cards I like - and I hope you do as well!
The birthday card on the left is made using multiple elements from the bundle. The wedding card on the right used only the Jubilee Beauty Dies from the bundle.
On the birthday card, I used the die to cut out two panels in Grapefruit Grove. Then I embossed the panels using the 3D Hammered Metal Embossing Folder. (Subscribers to my newsletter will get a detailed project sheet for this card. Have you subscribed yet?)
For this wedding or anniversary card, I cut the two panels out of Whisper White card stock. Then using a sponge, I applied Shimmer Paint in Frost White to both panels. It dries very quickly and really adds a touch of elegance to the card. While it was drying, I grabbed a scrap of Balmy Blue card stock and stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black. I cut out the sentiment with a die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. All elements were then adhered to a piece of Balmy Blue card stock and a Whisper White card base.
