Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine

The new Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine will be available for customers to order beginning September 1.  It has been available for demonstrators to purchase and use since the beginning of August.  Mine was ordered on that first day and I've put it through the paces for the past few weeks.  I'll share my thoughts about the new machine, but first, let's take a look at it.

  • Features:
  • Durable machines with high-quality results. The solid steel construction frame and rubber feet that securely grip the work surface produce crisp, clean, precise cutting and beautifully detailed embossing.
  • Easy to use. The machines and tools are designed for an intuitive die-cutting and embossing experience. For example, all plates are labeled with a number and are color coded for easy reference and use when building your sandwich. And just like the name suggests, our Magnetic Cutting Plates have fully-magnetic surfaces to make it easy to securely position your dies and keep them in place.
  • Simple to store. The platforms on both machines fold for space-saving storage and they look pretty too–the sleek, clean design suits any crafting space.
  • Portable. You can use both machines at home or on the go with their folding platforms and ergonomic carrying handles.
  • Highlights:
  • Wide 6" (15.2 cm) platform for all your crafting needs.
  • Weighs approximately 8.1 pounds (3.67 kg). Platform folds to make transporting easy and to take up less space when storing.
  • Works with all Stampin’ Cut & Emboss dies and embossing folders.
  • Simple to make a sandwich. Includes plates that are labeled with a number and are color coded for easy use.
  • All the plates you need to get started are included: 1 Base Plate (Plate 1), 1 Die Plate (Plate 2), 2 Cutting Plates (Plate 3), and 1 Specialty Plate (Plate 4).

Also available beginning September 1:
  • Magnetic Cutting Plate

Thin, fully magnetic sheet with self-healing cutting surface. Magnetic Cutting Plate (Plate 5) holds dies securely in place, even nested dies. This slim, portable sheet replaces a Cutting Plate in your sandwich, making it even easier to take with you. Use with the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

Are you still with me?  I hope so, because here are my thoughts:

So, first I want to say if you have a machine and it works well, by all means, continue to use it.

But, if you are in the market for a machine, this one should be considered.

I thought my 7 year old Big Shot worked just fine.  But I ordered the new Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine after thinking about it for a long time.  After all, my well-used Big Shot was showing signs of wear.

I love the sleek, compact design.  I love the numbered plates.  And I love having the sandwiches on the base plate.

But, what I like most of all is how easy it is to turn that handle!  It's so much less a struggle than my old machine.  You know how you have an old comfy pair of shoes and you finally break down and buy a new pair and they're so comfortable?  And at that moment you realize how much you "needed" them?  Well, that's how it felt after I used the new Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.  It's so easy to use.  I've missed not having a magnetic plate, but Stampin' Up! has announced that will be available on September 1 as well.

So, if your old machine is on it's last legs, or if you're in the market for a new machine, then I highly recommend the new Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine!

I will also offer a free shipping promotion when you order this machine through me September 1 - 7.  Check back next week for all the details!

Join me Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 1:00 PM for an in person workshop at Simply You Soap & Candle Co., 100 S. First Ave, Elizabeth PA.

We will be making 4 birthday cards with envelopes. Card packets will be prepared in advance with all die cutting and embossing done for you and stamps will be cleaned and blocks and punches sanitized between users. All supplies provided.

The cards will be designed so you can complete them with either the stamp sets I've used, or with whatever you have at home. Again, all die cutting and embossing will be done for you. All you will need to do is stamping, punching (or cutting), and assembly.

Cost for to go is $13.00 and includes shipping.

If you've been thinking about joining Stampin' Up! - whether to build a business, or strictly for the discount - this could be the promotion for you!  Details coming soon!!

The host code for August is  7F2WRVYY.   Please use this code when placing an order when your order is less than $150.00. If your order is over than $150.00, do not use the code.  Doing so would forfeit your earned hostess benefits.  You will still receive this month's ordering bonus from me.

As always,  let me know if there is anything I can do for you!

Happy Stampin'
Melanie
