Hi everyone!
Halloween is behind us and it's full steam ahead to Thanksgiving and Christmas! Stampin' Up! selectively chooses a few stamp sets to carry over from one catalog to the next or from one season to the next. Poinsettia Petals is one such stamp set. It was introduced last year and carried over to the current annual catalog. I pulled it out to use for today's card.
I used the Whimsy and Wonder Specialty Designer Series Paper as the background for the poinsettia and sentiment. The card base is Soft Succulent with a layer of Evening Evergreen. I die cut the poinsettia layers from the Pearlescent paper that has a wonderful sheen. Using a dauber, I sponged some Blushing Bride ink on the petals. I stamped the sentiment in Soft Succulent and used the Stitched So Sweetly Dies for the die cut.
