Good Morning Magnolia - Thinking of You

The new catalog became available earlier this week.   So many new products to tempt us!  Thanks to those of you that have already ordered.  I appreciate your business!

A few days ago I had 2 conversations -- one with a former neighbor, one with a former co-worker.  These two ladies do not know one other, yet they were lamenting the same thing.  One mentioned how much cards in the mail mean to her mother-in-law.  The other was sad that her two best friends neglected to send her a card for recent birthday.  Bottom line, they were both missing the personal connection a hand made card makes with both the sender and the recipient.  So, take a moment, send a card!

Today's card would fit that bill perfectly!  It's a simple Thinking of You card that conveys a powerful message!

A card base, a piece of designer series paper, a stamped sentiment and border cut out with coordinating dies, and a piece of ribbon.  Quick and easy, but so appreciated by the recipient.

So, why don't you make a card or two this weekend and mail them to someone - just because!

On Tuesday I shared a couple new resources from Stampin' Up! on my Facebook page - an adhesive chart and an index of sentiments by stamp set in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  Both have been added to the Stampin' Up! Resource Doc directly under the Catalog on the right side of the page.  Check them out!

The Host Code for June is available.  Please use this Host code for orders under $150.00 94QBZDSN.  All orders placed through June using the Host Code will receive an assortment of retired designer series papers cut down for cards and an ordering gift of current product from me.

If there is anything I can help you with, shoot me a note or leave a comment.

Good Morning Magnolia Quick Card Ideas

The new Stampin' Up! Catalog is now live!  I am so excited for you to see all the new products!  If you haven't already seen the catalog, here it is!

Today I have a couple of quick and easy cards for you using some of those new products!  They are from the Magnolia Lane Suite.  The beautiful images and colors are sure to catch your eye.

The top card has a teeny bit of stamping, the bottom card has no stamping.  Yet, they are beautiful cards and come with a lined envelope to create an even more professional look.

The top card that has the word "Thanks" stamped in Mossy Meadow ink is cut out using the new Stitched Nested Label Dies.  These are going to be a must have tool to add to your tool chest!

The cards and envelopes have silver foil accents.  The envelopes also have a liner.  The middle panel on the cards are from the Magnolia Lane Memories & More Pack.  What a great way to make quick and easy cards that pack a punch!

Dear Doily Just For You

Demonstrators all of the world anxiously awaited 4:00 AM MT for the start of our "pre-order" period for items from the new annual catalog.  My order has been placed.  So now, while I wait, I'm taking some favorite stamp sets for a spin.  Some are carrying over to the new catalog, others are not.

Today's card is a very quick and easy card. This card uses one of the stamp sets I am really going to miss in the new catalog - Dear Doily.  (Sorry the picture is a little lopsided...photographer error!)

Retiring InColors

Next week the retiring products list will be released by Stampin' Up!.  This is a big deal for demonstrators because most of us like to blog with and demonstrate current products.  And it's a big deal for customers that have "must have" products on their wish list that may be going away.  So, it's a time all of us wait for with some degree of trepidation -- and anticipation -- for what will come next.  What will be new?   Which products will jump to the top of our wish lists?

One thing we know is going away is the 2017-2019 InColors.  And all that goes with them.  Stamp pads, refills, markers, card stock, designer series paper.  You get the idea.  The retiring InColors products sell out very quickly.  It's like a frenzy has been unleashed.  The InColors is a group of 5 current, fresh colors that stick around for two years.  And then they're gone.

So, with all that in mind - and because I don't want you to miss out - let's take a closer look at the retiring InColors.

First up, all of the 2017-2019 InColors together.

And now a closer look at each:

Berry Burst

Fresh Fig

Lemon Lime Twist

Powder Pink

Tranquil Tide

And there you have it.  Are any of these among your favorites?  When they were first introduced, I thought Lemon Lime Twist was the best.  But after two years, I can honestly say, I've come to really like all of them!

The supply list to make today's cards is shown below.

In Color Falling Flowers

Stampin' Up! recently challenged demonstrators to create cards that incorporate the retiring 2017-2019 In Colors.  And the card could incorporate only stamps, inks, and paper.

As a reminder, here are the colors retiring at the beginning of June.

I made a separate card that uses each color individually, but then I started thinking that it might be fun to use all the colors on the same card.  At the same time, I wanted to use a stamp set that I don't use frequently.  I chose Falling Flowers.  And I used Beauty Abounds for accent coloring and for the sentiment.

With all of that, here is the card I created:

The supply list to recreate my card is shown below.
