Daisy Delight Meets Beauty Abounds

I paired the Daisy Delight stamp set with the Beauty Abounds stamp set to create this trio of cards that can be personalized for any occasion with just one additional stamp.

I created the color spray using the bubbles and splatter stamps from Beauty Abounds in each of the colors.  Then I stamped the long floral spray from the same stamp set in Tuxedo Black.  Next, I stamped the daisy image in the same color on scrap paper and punched out two of each flower.  I stamped the center in Tuxedo Black and adhered the two flowers together with a Mini Glue Dot.  I curled the flowers with the bone folder.  Finally, I stamped the sentiment on each card and attached the daisy flower with Dimensionals.

In Color Falling Flowers

Stampin' Up! recently challenged demonstrators to create cards that incorporate the retiring 2017-2019 In Colors.  And the card could incorporate only stamps, inks, and paper. 

As a reminder, here are the colors retiring at the beginning of June.

I made a separate card that uses each color individually, but then I started thinking that it might be fun to use all the colors on the same card.  At the same time, I wanted to use a stamp set that I don't use frequently.  I chose Falling Flowers.  And I used Beauty Abounds for accent coloring and for the sentiment.

With all of that, here is the card I created:

Brusho Beauty Abounds

A couple of weeks back, I pulled out the Brusho and created a couple of Brusho colored panels.  One was created on glossy card stock and the other was created on Shimmery White card stock.

The panel above was created with glossy card stock.  I decided to cut out a variety of images using several framelits.  That way I could make more than one card with each, rather than one card with each panel.  Every image is unique and can't be duplicated because of the nature of  Brusho.

Today's card is the first I've used.  I created a card with the Beauty Abound Bundle.  I stamped the background and then used the Subtle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to create the textured effect.

The background panel is adhered to a Balmy Blue panel.  I cut out the butterfly detail panel in black and adhered the Brusho butterfly images with Tombow.  The greeting is stamped in Balmy Blue on Whisper White cardstock and cut out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  The Balmy Blue backing oval was cut from the Layering Ovals Framelits.

Sneak Peek - Friendship

I know we're in the middle of a November snow storm, and yes, I know Thanksgiving in the US is next week, but I have a rather spring-y card to share with you today!

One of the stamp sets I got at OnStage is called Beauty Abounds.  I was so happy to get this set because of the greeting I used for today's card.  It's how I feel about my really close friends. :)

All of the stamped images are from Beauty Abounds.  This is a new "cling" stamp set being introduced in the Occasions Catalog.

The Designer Series Paper behind the stamped panel is from the Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper pack.  And that cute little wooden butterfly on the front; he's from a Sale-a-bration item, Butterfly Elements.
