Beautiful Baubles

I know when I participate in a blog hop some of you don't receive that post.  So, if you think you may have missed the hop, click here to start the hop.  There are some great projects to be seen!

For today's card, I used the Beautiful Baubles bundle.  I stamped the image twice and used the thinlit on one of the images to cut out each of the small ornaments.  Mini Dimensionals were used to pop up the small ornaments.  I used the 2 large circle thinlits to cut the decorative frame from the Merry Merlot glimmer paper.  The greeting was cut out using the Stitched Label Framelits.  All stamping was done in Gray Granite.

Filigree Flourish Thanks

In every catalog, there is at least one stamp set that probably does not get the attention that it deserves.  In my opinion, Filigree Flourish from the Holiday catalog is one of those sets.  The elements in this set work well together for some awesome cards, or can be used just as effectively stand alone.  Take a look at the examples I've created using that set to create some holiday thank you's.

First up is a card using only the elements in the stamp set, and a coordinating card stock.

Next up, 3 cards using the Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper from the annual catalog paired with the stamp and coordinating card stock.

Stylish Christmas - Season's Greetings

The Stylish Christmas stamp set has some beautiful images.  I used several of them to create today's fun fold card.  These go together quickly, and if you are behind in making your cards (like me), they are easy to mass produce.  I used Poppy Parade and Garden Green to stamp my images.  I used my Snips to cut out the poinsettia and holly leaves.  The poinsettia is set off with Dimensionals.  A Gold Faceted Gem is added to the center of the flower.  I had a small scrap of designer series paper from Santa's Workshop (sold out) that I used for the panel on the left.

Christmas Greetings

The Alpine Adventure stamp set and coordinating thinlits have been sitting on the shelf staring at me for a couple of months now.  I finally pulled it out today and created my card for today.  My sled is brown wood, because that's what our sled was like when we were kids. 

We lived at the bottom of a steep hill.  When it would snow enough to sled, there was rarely a car on that hill.  So, Dad would take us out and let us sled on the hill.  We never went up to the top, but it sure was fun for us.  Today that road is a bus route, so I'm sure there's no more sledding on that hill.

Oh, there's a sneak peek item from the Occasions Catalog on my card.  Do you see it?  Yep, the "Christmas Greetings" is cut out using the new Rectangle Stitched Thinlits.  There was a really loud cheer when they were introduced at OnStage.  And I know you'll want to add them to your collection in January!
